Prepare Yourself

Mew followed me to my room as I prepared to figure out what to pack.
I cant pack to much because this will be a long journey so I need just enough stuff.
"So what do you plan to pack Bolt, done pack to much I suggest two side bags only or one," mew suggested."That's a good plan that should fit a journal, some extra berries, maybe some personal stuff," I whispered to myself.

I noticed Mew curiously looking at my scarf, I wonder if Mew knows what it does. "Hey mew are you curious about my infinite Scarf, do you know anything about it?" I wondered.
"Oooh it's really nice, I assumed it was one too it can really help you out,it helps boost attack and speed drastically so hold on to it!" Mew excitedly answered.

"Well that great, it seems better then the choice scarf," I said gladly as I looked around for my bag. I scavenged my room for awhile but I managed to find my bag so now I could start packing items. I managed to snatch my extra oran berries from my dresser, my map of the Shoto region the one we are in now.A photo of Lucent,Ribbon, and me.I didn't really need much so it seemed that the one bag was enough for this stuff.

"And I'm finally done," I sighed and flopped onto my bed.Mew still flew around me not seeming to approve that I'm preparing to rest for tomorrow."hey what are you doing, you cant sleep yet I want to play a little!" Whined Mew obviously bored.
"I need sleep mew or I wont be rested enough for tomorrow," I answered which was mostly muffled by the pillow in my face.

Mew pouted before deciding to play around with the stuff in my room. But I didn't mind, anything to keep the pink pokemon distracted. And soon I drifted into a dreamless sleep...

Ribbons P.O.V

"ah I am finally finished packing, it only took three bags but I am sure that this will be enough for the journey," I say proudly. Most of the stuff I packed were healing supplies and food, but the third bag was filled with my precious dolls... "Lucent might noticed that I packed three bags maybe bolt can carry it for me?no my ribbons should do for the third one," I mumbled which happened to catch my nocturnal brothers attention. "hey Ribbon, finished packing?" he asked me. his rings lit up my room a beautiful shade of blue which changed its very pink interior that I seemed to forget his question as I stared in awe.                                                                                                  "Ribbon? you're spacing out are you finished or not?" Lucent asked again waving his tail in my front of my muzzle."oh sorry brother,I got distracted but I did finish packing, so I am going to go rest makes sure to get some sleep too Lucent." I answered still a in awe about his blue glow.I may have seen him glow many times I just cant seem to get over the fact its such a sight to see sometimes.

"I will Ribbon, goodnight make sure to get as much rest as you can we have to go before eight to get to the edges of town in time," Lucent reminded me as snuggled into my cloud like bed and drifted to sleep.

Bolts P.O.V                                                                                                                                                                                 I slowly woke up as I felt a somewhat light but quick tapping on my shoulder,I opened my eyes to expect Lucent or Ribbon but instead I was meet with the little pink pokemon mew. "Meeeeeeeew wake me up later I dont want to play right now," I groaned. Mew pouted before pushing me off the bed with psychic."HEY only Lucent can do that, I dont like being awakened like that," I growled at mew who giggled. "Well I am glad your giving me permission to do it because mew didn't," the all too familiar voice of Lucent chuckled. "of course if was you,fine I will get up what time is it anyway Lucent?" I asked drowsily.

"Its 7:19 we leave in about 10 minutes to make sure we make it to the edge of town on time Bolt," Lucent responded rolling his eyes before walking out of my room. I groaned before standing up mew circled me a few times which proceeded to make me dizzy. I ignored mew who then playfully played with my spike like fur as I grabbed the bag filled with my necessities for the trip.

I finally ran out of my room to our little kitchen to grab something to eat quickly before we go, because who knows how long we are going to walk before we take a break."Bolt come on we gotta go!for the one who is supposed to go on the trip you are sure taking your time!" yowled Ribbon by the door." I will I am just grabbing some supper crunchy dry food to eat for breakfast!" I answered quickly scavenging the drawers for the food.I managed to find i quickly a stuffed some in my mouth before bolting to the door.

Lucent sighed and went outside Ribbon and I followed, Mew did too reluctantly probably annoyed that I am ignoring his playful actions.Ribbon seemed to notice and grabbed a clefairy doll from one of her bags and handed it to mew."Cute toy! thanks Ribbon," mew thanked and hugged her then continued to float around with it."No problem Mew I always have one around so feel free to ask me for one if your bored, I understand what its like to be ignored!" Ribbon told mew while glaring at us."we should get to the next town in a few hours maybe 3 if we dont have to wait long for flare that is," Lucent said suddenly.

"the next town is Crimson town right? the one we used to go to when we wanted to play at the beach?" I asked. Lucent nodded and ribbon bounced around playfully, its had been forever since we were there last time or at least it seems to have been forever. I could faintly remember not daring to go near the water as Ribbon splashed me with water I was annoyed at her, Lucent would always hang out in the distance usually talking with another pokemon since most of the times we went there was for one of his missions.                                                                                              We ma have never went there just for fun and usually for Lucents job but it was still fun nonetheless, to bad we wont be able to stay long to just play around in the sand like before."do you have something on your mind Bolt?you seemed troubled," asked Mew curiously. They still were playing with Ribbons doll as they wondered why I looked down. "Do I look sad? whoops I was just disappointed we wont be able to stay long in crimson town and hangout on the nice beach there," I sighed and I smiled at Mew reassuringly."Bolt I know you like the sand there but you already know we dont have time for that but once we finish the quest that were on we can hangout at the beach after,I promise you that bolt." Lucent promised me I didnt think he could keep it though but it was still nice the thought of going back there to play around like when I was an eevee.

"Hey guys! I didnt think you would get here so early," Flare yelled from the distance running up to us.
"We wanted to make sure we arrived on time so we could leave as soon as possible,if that's fine with you Flare." Lucent answered.

"That's perfectly ok now we can get moving right away and start this journey!" Flare yowled excitedly.
"Well let's get a move on it's going to be a long walk to Crimson town!" I hollered.

I was excited but also a bit nervous,afterall our journey was to stop a war no just for experience and fun. But I wasnt doing it alone so I am ready to face everything that comes at me head on!
