Jessica and Bea were in the park late at night staring at the stars. Jessica heard Bea shift over closer to her.

Bea sighed, "You look so beautiful tonight and I'm so glad I have you in my life."

She felt her place a hand on the small of her stomach and looked up at her as she shifted to look down on her.

She watched as she leaned down and kissed her softly on the lips then more urgently.

She kissed her back, trying to enjoy the kiss but visions of Deanna kept swimming before her eyes. She felt Bea's hand underneath her shirt tracing circles around her navel as she kissed her. Her hand was going ever so slowly to the top button of her Levi's. She pulled her lips from her and pushed her hands away.

"We can't do this now! We're in a park. What if someone walks up." She joked as she stood up and pushed her hair away from her face, staring down as Bea stood up.

Bea pulled her and leaned in to nip at her neck, gently. Her hair muffled her voice, "Well we can go back to my place. No one will walk in on us there."

She playfully pushed her away and Bea moaned and reached for her again, "Awwww come on now. You're killing me." She jokingly teased.

"I need to get some rest, we begin filming early tomorrow morning."

She watched Bea look down and put her hands in her pockets. "O.K. Fine."

Jessica immediately felt guilty. She knew she should tell her about Deanna and her love for her but she couldn't bring herself to do it.

Every time she tried her tongue got stuck in the back of her throat. She knew Deanna felt guilty also about lying to Bea but what could they do? She needed her.

Her and Deanna had been seeing each other for about 8 months and over that time she had fallen hard for her, and she for her.

They tried to see each other as often as they could but sometimes it was nearly impossible. If only she could tell Bea that she was in love with someone else then everything would be O.K. and she and Deanna could see each other as often as they liked.

Jessica was pulled from her thoughts by the feel of Bea's hand in hers. She turned her head to look at her.

She was always so sweet to her. She gave her a smile and let her lead her out of the park as her thoughts went back to Deanna. She was everything she could want in a girl and more.

She was charming, witty, fun to be around, and so much more. Not to mention she had a nice ass.

She had thought Bea was the one girl for her but then she met Deanna that fateful night when Bea introduced them at her house.

She remembered the feeling in her stomach as she said hello to her. She had gotten so dizzy with the intensity in her eyes as she looked at her that she had to excuse herself to the bathroom so she could regain her composure.

She remembered the slow way they had started seeing each other. Bea would invite them both out to dinner with her and while both, Deanna and Jessica, waited for Bea they chatted and got to know each other and soon began seeing each other without Bea around.

Once again she was pulled from her thoughts when Bea suddenly stopped.

"We're here!" Bea announced dramatically, waving her hands toward her house.

She turned from her side, looked up at the house and sighed. She started walking towards the front door.

"Won't you have me in?" Bea inquired teasingly. "I promise to be on my best behavior." She gave her a wink.

She turned to face her, "I told you I have to go to bed early." She pulled her toward her.

"Well we can get to bed early. Just think, me. you. together. alone." She felt her against her leg.

She knew what she wanted. She should have known Bea wouldn't be happy just holding hands after all those times together.

The truth was she didn't want Bea anymore. She wanted Deanna. Only Deanna. Her insides stirred with the memory of their first night together. She remembered it like it was yesterday.

She remembered the feel of Deanna's hands as they trailed lovingly along her body and the way her kisses felt on her bare skin.
Why couldn't it be her standing in front of her now on the sidewalk, she wondered.

"So what do you say?" Bea murmured into her hair.

She clenched her teeth together. "Like I said before, I can't."

When she saw her brown eyes darken in hurt she immediately regretted saying it. She hadn't meant for it to come out so harsh.

"Fine if that's what you want. I'll call you tomorrow." She kissed her quickly on the cheek and turned to leave.
She stood on the sidewalk, watching her walk away.

When she was out of sight she turned and walked up the steps of her house. When she opened the door the phone was ringing.
She hurried to the kitchen and wondering who was calling her so late.
