All My Fault

Cafe Visit

"Thanks a lot for today Y/n, I don't know what I would've done without you", Rosie said hugging you tightly.

After closing the cafe and collecting most of the money from the cash register, you had decided to visit Jeremy and Rosie at the hospital. "Don't worry about the cafe, Rosie. I'm done with most of my assignments and projects anyway. I've talked to my professors, it is okay for me to take a leave." You were patting her back while Jeremy was still asleep on his bed. "Take care of him and spend all your time with him right now. I'll take care of the cafe, Ava and Ash will be there too. We will make it work" you said, handing her all the money you brought.

"What's with the huge smile Jin-ah?" Ken asked from the sofa, where Sandeul and him were watching Train to Busan on the television and eating popcorn. "Remember the fan from yesterday, the one who returned the purse? I met her at a cafe and she gave me free cookie" Jin said handing them their iced Americanos and plopped down on the sofa beside them. "On that note, let's go there together sometime, the cafe's totally our style" Jin said sipping his iced caramel macchiato".

"Sure thing" Sandeul distractedly said while opening the cutely packed box Jin had placed on the table. "Oh! She gave three cookies" Sandeul cheered picking up a cookie and stuffing it in his mouth messily "and we're definitely going , the cookie's heavenly".

Both Ken and Jin smiled at their adorable friend and picked up their respective cookies.

Returning to an empty house was one of the worst feelings for you, especially knowing the reason for the absence of your best friend (read long time crush). Your gloomy mood turned gloomier. "There goes my appetite" you whispered and silently entered your room. Sending mail to your respective subject professors about your absence, and sending a message to Ava about the cafe you called it a night.

Waking up at 6 am the next day you got ready quickly as you had to open the cafe and prepare the desserts. Working there part-time from time to time paid off at times like this. While leaving the shared apartment, your eyes automatically went over to Bogum's room which was shut. He didn't come home last night.

"I have to get over my feelings, ASAP" you sighed.

Jin was playing Uno with Ken, when suddenly Sandeul barged out of his room, fully dressed. "Jin-ah, please take me to the cafe where you bought the double choco chip cookies, they were way too delicious. I'm craving some" he whined the last part like a baby. "Dude, you literally ate them two days ago" Ken rolled his eyes. "But yes, the cookies were tasty, have to say" Ken smiled, as if remembering the taste. 

Jin smiled seeing his friends gushing over the cookies like kids. "Sure, lets go" Jin said. For some reason he wanted to see you again. Something about you seemed to have struck his interest, maybe the heartfelt things you had said about him. 

Walking to the same cafe, which was about a 5 minutes' walk from their hotel, Jin started thinking about her again. The person who broke his heart like it was nothing, the person who treated their relationship of two years like a joke, the person whom he still couldn't seem to unlove- Irene. Before he could get too depressed the cream colored banner with red letters in cursive came to his view, "Rosie's Cafe". Behind him Sandeul and Ken were bickering about something, but his eyes fell on you through the glass pane of the almost empty cafe. A young guy with silver hair was following you around like a lost puppy and when he tried to touch you, you swat his hand away looking amused. "Didn't she already have a boyfriend" Jin thought but then he ignored it and dragged his friends inside.

"For the 4th time today, Ashton, I'm not going out with you. You're 18, concentrate on your finals. Go and study" you said smiling at his antics. You had just served the only two people in the cafe and returned to the counter to check on the pastries. Since the rush hour was over about an hour ago you were relaxed now and could finally have your lunch. "But Y/n I've already studied and I'm legal. I'm even taller than- AAAhhh hurts... MOm" he was cut off and started whining when Ava pulled at his ear. "I told you to go home and study an hour ago, what are you still doing here" Ava dragged him by his ear to the break room, from where she came out a minute ago. You were chuckling while fondly gazing at their interaction, you missed your mom. 

"Is he in trouble?" a heavily accented voice broke you out of your reverie. "I guess. I'm sorry for not noticing you sir. What would you- Oh it's you!" your nerves were shot coming face to face with not only your ultimate bias Kim Seokjin, for the 3rd time now, but also Lee Jaehwan and Lee Junghwan. They all were smiling at you and your mind was absolutely boggled, it felt like a dream. "Pinch me please" you mumbled and they chuckled at that. "No no, you don't need to, we are totally real" Ken said in  a friendly voice.

"Oh God, I'm so sorry for being so embarrassing. What would you like to order today sir?" you asked shaking off the trance, getting in your work mode. "We really loved the cookies you gave Jin the last time, thanks for those by the way, so I'd like to have that" Sandeul said making you blush. "It was my pleasure, what would you both like?" you asked the other two with a smile. "Whatever is the best here" Ken and Jin said smiling "and three iced americanos."

"Very well, please take any seat you'd like and I hope you enjoy your stay here."
