I pushed open the big gate and stepped inside his modern living room. "Uh, excuse the mess." he said sheepishly. Smiling, I sat down on his big 'L' shaped couch.
"So.." I heard him mumble. "Whatcha wanna come here for? None of your little friends, couldn't come get you? What about you're boyfriend? Hardy was it?" he said, walking over and sitting next to me.
"His name is Holden, and no.. we uh, broke up." I whispered, thinking back to what happened only an hour ago. "And I told you... I just don't wanna go home."
He laughed, ruffling his gorgeous hair.
No, Cassie. Shut Up. He's Gavin.
Right, I'm sorry. I don't even like him.
"Anyways.. I am having someone over in an hour and I hope you don't mind more company.. you could always hang with my mom." he joked.
"Ugh, maybe I will, its probably one of you're skanks anyway." I smirked, wandering into the kitchen grabbing a water.
"Cute. But actually this time its not, my skank is coming over later." he winked.
"Oh?" I questioned. "Who is it then?" I leaned on the table, propping myself on my elbows.
"And why should I tell you? Think you'll get lucky?" he smirked.
"Um no... I'm gunna go talk to you're mom." I mumbled.
"Not yet princess." he winked, you came here to see me.. I know you did." he grinned.
"Oh yeah you got me." I said sarcastically.
"What would you like to do?" he asked, a huge grin on his face.
"Umm... can we make cookies?" I asked eagerly, feeling like a little kid again.
"Alright.." he smiled, grabbing the ingredients we needed and got to work.
I walked over to Gavin and put a hand full on chocolate chips down his pants and laughed, running away right after.
"Aah! Gavin, don't!" I shrieked, laughing while Gavin put flour on my head.
"This is payback babe!" he yelled, chasing me around the counter.
"Nooo!" I shouted. He quickly ran to my side and put flour on my head, when the timer went off.
Ding!
"Their Done!" I yelled, running to the oven.
"Your such a little kid." he smiled, pulling the cookies out.
After eating every single cookie, I sighed patting my stomach.
"I'm going to go say hi to you're mom." Smiling, I walked up the stairs and found her sitting at a table doing a puzzle.
"Mrs. Matthews?" I asked, reaching the second floor. "Hey!" I heard her shout.
Walking in I smiled at her, and sat down. "Oh, Cassie dear. I didn't know you were here!" She smiled, dropping what she was doing, and giving me a big hug.
"Need any help?" I questioned, gesturing towards her unfinished puzzle on the table beside her.
"Oh, that would be great! Thank you." She cried.
Ding Dong.
"Gavin, could you get the door sweetie?" Mrs. Matthews yelled.
"I'm busy!" we heard Gavin's faint yell.
Ding Dong.
"I'll get it." I smiled towards Mrs. Matthews and headed downstaris towards the door.
"Hello." I greeted, opening the door.
"Hey dude!" I heard a familiar voice shout.
Oh shit.
