Seokjin wasn't a big fan of uncomfortable silence. He would always try to break it by telling some dad jokes which would cross his mind when they were needed.
But right now, he didn't remember not even one.
Since Yoongi left the two of them in the apartment alone, a word hasn't been spoken. Jin stole a quick glance at a taller man, curiously watching him.
He had to admit that he was pretty hot, especially with that blonde hair. He didn't seem to acknowledge that though.
A smile made way across his face when Namjoon somehow tripped on his own two feet. The following blush amused him, since he so obviously tried to keep his cool the entire time and look tough.
He miserably failed.
"Are you hungry?" Seokjin asked, barely keeping his laugh back.
Namjoon looked at him and shyly scratched the back of his neck. "A little, but I really don't know how to cook. And I don't think something's in the fridge anyway."
Seokjin made his way to the kitchen and opened the door revealing, just how Namjoon predicted, an empty fridge.
He sighed. "We should go to the convenience store. I can cook, so you don't have to worry about that. We'll make this work."
The smile Namjoon had made Seokjin's heart melt, especially when it showed his dimples.
A soft giant, huh?, he thought to himself, smile making its way onto his face.
The moment he entered the airplane in Germany towards Kairo, he decided that he would keep strictly professional behaviour, but when he entered Yoongi's office, it all ended up as a failure. He sighed. He knew he shouldn't change himself and act fake, hell, he hated that, but this was an once in a lifetime opportunity so he couldn't allow himself to screw up.
Seokjin was confused at the beginning; he didn't know why was he chosen. He knew he was one of the best archaeologists they had, but he was still young. He was even more shocked when he found out that the rest of the team were younger than him, although he didn't mind that at all.
They entered the car Yoongi left for them and made their way towards the store. It was silence again, so Jin tried to break it by turning on a radio. Instead hearing music, they heard news.
"The ministry is silent about the conspiracy theories the media makes. It is said that a new pyramid was revealed and that the end of the world is coming, which concerns many. Stay tuned for updates."
Seokjin frowned. Didn't Yoongi say that they're undercover and that citizens won't hear anything till it's confirmed?
"What was that?" Namjoon asked, confusion written all over his face.
