Jimin woke up in the middle of the night, sweating. As he stumbled to the bathroom, he looked at himself in the mirror and splashed cold water on his face.
The nightmare he had still had him shaking with fear. The look on Jungkook's face as he's being forcefully taken, dragged away by dark, masked people. The empty feeling consuming his body while he watched the scene, not being able to do anything.
It felt so real, he thought as he walked back and looked at the digital clock on his bedside table.
11:30 PM
He exited his room and started walking towards Jungkook's. He had to make sure the younger was safe and in bed, sleeping peacefully. He still had a bad feeling, and in this moment it really didn't help him.
But as he entered the room, he noticed that it was empty. Dead silence started to choke him as he frantically looked around himself. Jimin immediately took his phone and dialed Jungkook's number.
Please pick up.
His hope was destroyed when the phone started ringing, left on the younger's bed. Jimin groaned and sat down, the feeling of anger and misery washing over him.
Maybe he's over Hoseok's, he thought and dialed the redhead. He knew he was slightly panicking and probably scared for nothing, but he couldn't help but feel anxiety when Hoseok, after three calls, didn't answer him.
Hoseok always picked up calls.
A notification popped up suddenly, telling him that he had a missed call from Seokjin an hour ago. He frowned and clicked to call back, only to hear a voicemail. The same happened when he called Namjoon, Seokjin's roommate.
He knew that he was probably overreacting and acting like a crazy mother. But he just couldn't help himself. The nightmare he had still tainted his mind.
So, he called a person he barely ever spoke to, to help him. He looked through his contacts and dialed Aalia, the only girl in his team. Jimin knew that she often stayed late in the museum and he was grateful because of that now. Even though she seemed bubbly, she was actually one of the most reserved people he ever met. To him, it was obvious that all of it was an act. He just didn't know why.
"Hello?" She answered. Jimin sighed, glad that someone picked up his call.
"Hi, Aalia. It's Jimin. I'm sorry for bothering you, but do you happen to still be at the museum? I'm sorry if I woke you up." He questioned anxiously. He really needed to get his mind off of things and talk to someone.
