I heard cheers from my new Hogwarts house but I heard a few cries of : "That's not fair " or "They got the pretty one!"  I blushed .But other than that everyone was happy with my placement.

I walked over to my new table and sat with to Cedric ,Sam , Lauren and Noah . I was astonished by the amount of food scattering the table.

"Hey guys!" I greeted cheerfully

"Hiya (Y/N) !" Lauren replied

"Congrats on making the best house !" Cedric said smugly

"Oh don't be so cocky ,Diggory." I teased

"Fight !Fight ! Fight!" San joked . I noticed that Noah doesn't talk much . I decided to do something about that .

"Hey Noah !"

"Hi" he replied in a dull voice

"Noah doesn't talk much." Cedric stated

"Yeah I see that thanks ." I replied bluntly

Everyone on the Hufflepuff table was chatting and laughing until the bell rung.

I collected my time table and followed the Hufflepuff prefect up to the common room.

"All you have to do is knock on the barrel in a special rhythm, like this ," she demonstrated a complex pattern of noise on the wooden barrel. The door opened and my jaw dropped at the sight of the gorgeous decor of the common room as we entered.

There was a inviting fire place with soft arm chairs In a rough semicircle around it. There was a huge ,mellow yellow, fluffy rug right in the centre. The walls were painted in a pleasant yellow with black trim at the top and bottom.

" Alright first years !Guys follow Liam up to the men's dormitories ," she indicated to the male prefect "Girls follow me ." A small group of girls followed her upstairs.

There were four beds per room and I got the bed at the very end beside the window. It was a beautiful view of the black lake .

We all introduced ourselves to each other as we needed to live with each other for the rest of the year. 

"Hi I'm (Y/N) (L/N). Who are you guys?" I introduced myself

"I'm Gracie , Gracie Stanford ." She stuck out her hand and I shook it delicately. Gracie was a pretty, blond girl but she had her brothers sharp green eyes.

"Oh I met your brother on the train !"

"Mhm he's too quiet but he is really annoying once you know him." I giggled

"Katie ,Katie Lynchester." She went for a more friendly approach and hugged me . I stiffened but soon hugged back.  She's a pretty Asian girl with black hair that just brushed past her waist. Her eyes were a dark brown which could be mistaken for black.

"I'm Hailey, Hailey Thomas . I have a younger brother that's coming next year." She smiled and we shook hands. She was also really pretty and she had brown hair and sky blue eyes and freckles dusted her face.
