I woke up groggy and shook Katie awake but for once I left Gracie in a deep slumber.

It was her birthday and me and Katie were gonna throw a huge party for her in the Hufflepuff common room. We had already talked to Professor Sprout about it and she gave us the Okay.

We walked down ,still in our pyjamas, and hid all of the decorations in the small cupboard near the fireplace.

No one knew about it but me and Katie found it by leaning against the wall and we had felt a small handle.

I walked back into the dorms and woke up Gracie. We did our usual morning routine and I still stayed in my pyjamas. I forced Gracie into a navy shirt dress and curled her hair.

She asked why but was too tired to protest against it. Elegantly, we walked to breakfast and I rushed back up because I had 'forgotten something '.

I burst into the common room and Katie was half finished decorating,with Harrison helping typical. I took a banner and stuck it to the far left wall , it read : Happy 12th birthday!

After half an hour of hard work we were done but looked like a mess. My hair was messy ,I was still in my pyjamas and I had bags under my eyes. Me and Katie rushes upstairs and Harrison went to the Ravenclaw common room.

I showered, got changed then brushed my hair out and curled it slightly. I wore a simple ,mustard yellow jumper and leggings with some white shoes.

Katie did the same to her hair and her outfit was similar to mine but she wore a blue jumper and black shoes. I noticed that she still had the necklace that Harrison had given her,she rarely took it off and got told off by Professor Snape because of it. I smirked to myself. She cocked her head sideways but I just shook her off vaguely.

We walked downstairs and I went to fetch Gracie from the great hall.

"Took you long enough!" She complained.

"Yeah yeah let's go ."

We walked to the common room and walked in. She gasped in surprise as she took in all the decorations and people waiting there for her .

"Surprise!" Everyone yelled as a big ,goofy grin was slapped onto Gracie's face.

"Let's party!" Katie hollered. Everyone cheered in response and went crazy as we blared music from a specher (read speaker but she can't pronounce it since it's a muggle thing) or whatever.

Many people crowded the makeshift dance floor and went wild! Damn we did a great job!

I soon joined the chaos and we flung Gracie into the air and caught her again. We repeated doing so for a while until we got tired.

I made my way to the drinks and poured myself some pumpkin juice. I spotted Cedric and made my way towards him.

I tapped his shoulder lightly.

"Hey!"

"Oh hey (Y/N) !"

"Enjoying the party?"

"Yeah you throw an awesome rave !" Rave ,Seriously Ced?

"Yeah if it's something I've learnt from Ava , it's how to throw a lit party!"

"Ava's your sister right?"

"Uh Yeah!"

"She's pretty hot." He mumbled to himself. I felt my heart break a little .Or a lot . I plastered a small smile on my face and excused myself.Great the guy I like, likes another girl . The other girl is my damn SISTER! Ugh!
