Second period was charms so I made my way to the classroom while chatting to Katie and Gracie
about stupid things such as dung beetles and flobberworms.

We walked into the classroom and sat near the back but there was someone sat in the space , so I was gonna move up a bit but the girl insisted that we sat in the space as she moved . I can't believe people were still on about the 'queen of Hufflepuff ' stuff . I rolled my eyes but sat down anyway.

"Hello and welcome to Charms class!" A short but cheerful man was standing on some thick books at the front of the class but he still was only just peaking over the desk. "I'm Professor Flitwick and today we will me learning about the levitation charm. Who can tell me the incarnation for the spell?" I raised my hand slightly.

"Yes miss (L/N)?"

"Wingardiam Leviosa?"I guessed

"Correct ! Five points to Hufflepuff." He smiled " We will not be doing the practical today but we will in the next lesson. Now turn to page six in your text book and write me a minimum of one page about the spell."

I began writing the essay but was distracted since many people were staring at me . Do I have something on my face ? I ignored the stares, put my hair over my face and resumed writing until the bell rung. I passed the three pages of paper to the Professor before catching up with Katie. Next class was flying with the Ravenclaws.

We walked out onto the Quidditch pitch and stood in a neat line ,waiting for the teacher to arrive. She came out of the castle and towards us.

"I'm Madam Hooch and I don't want to see ANY messing around in my class! Do I make myself clear?" She asked,well more like demanded.

"Yes Madam!" The class chorused back.

"Okay then . Stand on the left side of any broom." She instructed, the class rearranged their positions on the pitch." Now stick your hand above the broom and say 'UP' Of you pop!"

I had a broom next to Gracie and the whole class erupted in a series of 'Ups' I decided to give it a go,

"Up!" Surprisingly the broom shot up into my hand on the first try. Since I had nothing to do I decided to help Gracie.

"How'd you do it (Y/N) ?" Gracie asked

"Need any help there?" I offered

"Obviously." She rolled her eyes at me but soon grinned .

"Don't be so forceful with it just say up like you would in a normal conversation."

"Alright I'll give it a try, Up!" Her broom almost made it into her hand before it dropped back to the ground ."Ughhhh this is impossible!"

"Just carry on trying Gracie." I advised before going to help other people. Ten minutes later everyone had their brooms in their hands .
Madam hooch wasted no time.

"Alright listen up! This is a part where you can't mess around otherwise you'll get yourself a one way ticket to the hospital wing !" She eyed all of us cautiously " Mount your brooms and kick off the ground , you should only hover over a few feet of the ground. Don't do anything else!" She instructed . Everyone did as told apart from Waterline ,who got too cocky and flew off into the sky . Of course it HIM.
