The other day one of my best friends asked me, "what is life?" And I truthfully responded,

"Life is like a desolate prison sentence.

Where we head down a silent corridor. Aimlessly drifting towards the day you get out.

And on both sides of you are your fellow prison inmates, trying to pull you in and desperate, to not let you out." _Matthew James Tucker

I was lying on my bed after a long days journey and I thought up this little arrangement of words....

Life is exactly like when you get lost on the road.

You keep driving desperate for directions, seeking a rejoinder as to where to go.

The people around you wine and plead.

You multiply ask for directions. Yet every time you do, you receive a different answer.

And some people, find there so longed for point B. And as for others, they keep astray down they're insignificant, silent, lonely, dusty dirt road. Praying to reach the end... _Matthew James Tucker

This came to me at my time of lowest lows...

Life is like a child waiting on a broken Ferris wheel.

You cherish the moments its moving and carrying you in an endless ray of fun.

You wave to your parents from your seat.

It stops...

You sit. You wait.

You begin to drown out the noise around you.

You grip onto the restraints. And you begin to think.

Everything you ponder, people don't ponder until their about seventy years old and realize, "one day, I'm going to die..."

And you know you will, not knowing how, or why, you just know... _Matthew James Tucker

I got this one examining my friend die inside every day, and every day, take the time to smile at me and say, "I'm fine."

Life is the silence you endure when your home alone.

You do whatever you can to keep the house alive to keep yourself sane. To keep yourself from thinking of all the bad things that could happen while your by yourself...

You play music. You run water for the hell of it. You press the musical buttons on teddy bears. The works.

But, in those mere seconds when the music, the water, the teddy bears, go silent.

You grip onto the reality, that at some point in your life, you have to face the pure horror, of being all alone..._Matthew James Tucker

I see this truth in my family every day of my life....

Life is like a loud scream.

It echo's in your ears. Like its still there...

You come up with trillions of answers as to what it is.

You feel scared, confused, and helpless all at once.

Your emotions take over you like a waterfall.

You have no idea what to think, or what to do.

And you panic.... _Matthew James Tucker

(I hope you guys like these. I mean, just a few things to think about. I feel kinda bad that I can't  express what I'm trying to say enough. I suppose this will tide over for awhile.)
