Giving love a real chance

Oh shit !

Josie's POV
I left Penelope with the best feeling, kissing her like that makes me just fall even harder for her. I made my way to the front of the school, I can't shake Penelope off my mind, I start the daydream about last night, and feel proud about what I did and how I told her to stay, I thought letting her back into my life was bad but after knowing that everything she has done has been for me, I knew she knew that I lived her still but I didn't think i was going to tell her ever again.

Just as I sink into deeper thought the sound of the bus brakes, I shake me head and get ready to introduce the new student to myself and the school. The doors snatch open

"Wow" Josie's mouthed, however she was confused, she knew that girl somehow.

The tall blonde, athletic looking female stepped down from the bus, gazing around.

"Hello I'm Josette Saltzman, headmasters daughter but you can call me Josie" Josie said with a forced smile and holding her hand out for a hand sake while holding her clip board close to her chest

"Ah yeah hi I'm Sophie, I guess I'm a vampire" Sophie said confused

"Well Sophie I'm a type of witch, I'm a siphoner, I ablative magic for things and I can cast spells or project spells" Josie's said proudly and ending her sentence with a little hop

"Crazy, hey I thought this school was just a rich private school, I know someone who goes here does that mean..."Sophie saids surprised and shocked that's her former friend is super natural.

"Yes she's super natural, what was your friends name" Josie's asked while showing Sophie around the halls ignoring the history of the school as it's boring and not necessary anyways.

"Well she's my ex now, ah Penelope Park, short, black hair, witty" Sophie said describe every correct detail of Josie's love

"Oh ah yes I know her quiet well, um how long were you together if that's okay to ask" Josie said stand offish and insecure a little

"We dated when we where like 14 it was only 8 months, until her family moved, haven't spoke to her since" Sophie saids quietly emphasising her sadness.

I dismissed the conversation, and started talking about the school and the history as it's boring and dull, as I needed to think about what I was going to say to Penelope.

"Sophie this is your dorm, the vampires have blood in the kitchen fridge but I'm going to get my friend MG to hang out with you and show you the rope, you may feel a little more informed with him as he is also a vampire" Josie's saids with a smile and bringing out her phone to text MG to meet her

I walked Sophie last the rooms and noticed the Penelope had spells class and forgot that we were about to walk past the class room were Penelope usually steels the show, just as were standing outside of the class room the bell rings and I quickly move Sophie out of the way to stop her getting trampled, I noticed or Penelope at the back of the pack exiting the classroom as Sophie was distracted by MG I went to say hello, but she was gone by the time I turned back around.

Eating hall
Penelope is sitting at the table in the fair right corner with her head places in the table, just as Penelope sat up Hope appears,

"Hey Pezz, how you doing, wait what you not eating" Hope saids in shock and sympathy

"Nah I'm not hungry, just thinking about Josie" Penelope's saids slowly placing her head back on the table

Penelope just a knock from hope when the beautiful tall pouty faced female walks through the door. Penelope face lit up then she saw Sophie following behind chatting with MG, and Penelope's face slowly brakes from her smile. Lizzy, Landon and hope are at the table asking questions and Penelope is overwhelmed until she feels two hands resting on her shoulders,

"Sorry guys but can you this one please" a finalise voice saids above Penelope's ear

"Jojo" Penelope whispers under her breath releasing a breath of relief.

The two girls head around the corner not noticing Sophie watching as she talks to MG.

"So, Sophie she's..." Josie was cut off

"My ex" Penelope saids staring at the floor

Josie's places her fingers under Penelope chin, lifting it up to meet eyes with Penelope.

"Look I don't care, I know how you feel and I understand that is would of been heartbreaking to leave the way you did, and we did exactly have time to talk about your past. It's okay Pezz" Josie's saids smiling and not braking eye contact with Penelope

Josie slowly lowers her hand from Penelope's face, penalise grabs Josie's hands and interlock their finger together

"Josie have I told you I love you lately" Penelope said smirking and swing theirs hands

"Well maybe not as lately as I'd like" Josie's said smiling bringing Penelope closer to her by swinging her arms behind her back back. Penelope grins and presses her lips against Josie's feeling the pull form josie, they serpent he kiss with a single breath, the two brake the kiss and rest their foreheads against one another, admiring that they are finally close again.

The day ends with Penelope and Josie in the same bed binge watching something on Netflix, Josie falls asleep first as usual compelled by Penelope's heart beat.
