You need to sleep!

Josie's POV
I helped Penelope out of the car, she looked exhausted,

"Babe, you don't look so good"

I had hold of Her hand, while wrapping my arm around her waist

"Penelope you need to go lay down" Lizzy told us

She just looks at me, drained

"It's okay guys, relax"

I helped Penelope to her room and got her changed into comfy clothes. She sat on her bed just starring at the wall

"Babe, are you okay"

"Jo, I don't know"

I rushed over to her and just held her,

"Jo, I think this is bad"

"Babe, whatever it is, I'm going to be right here, I promise"

She grabbed my hand and shook it, she locked eyes with me and we just stared into each other's eyes for a while, her eyes were red and tired but she was terrified to go to sleep

I moved under the covers, and proper myself up with the pillows,

"Hey?"

She just turned and looked at me

"Come here" I opened my arms

Penelope climbed over me and laid next to me, she let out a sigh, she went to lay away from me, but I grabbed her and pulled her closer,

"Jo, no, I can't"

"Babe, it's okay just relax"

She locked eyes with me and she let me in, her eyes softened and her muscles lost tension, she laid her he's doin my chest and swung her leg around mine, I started to run my fingers through her hair, I can hear her a breathing getting heavier, I placed my hand on her chest,

"Pezz, just breath"

She tucks her head further into my neck, and shuts her eyes, my hand still ran through her hair, my other hand was still in Penelope's chest I slowly moved my thumb back and forth, letting her know I was here.

I turned Netflix on the tv and on a romcom, I just sat up with her on my chest making sure she could sleep, I thought she was finally asleep, but she started shaking and jolting,

"Babe, open your eyes!"

I cupped her face but it wasn't working, I smothered her and just held her tight until suddenly she breaks, she opened her eyes wide, terrified, she was looking around the room, I jumped up and kneeled informs of her, I grab her face and focused her attention on me

"Hey, Hey, hey !, shhh"

A tear was building up, I wiped her eyes,

"Baby, I'm here, right here, it's me"
She grabs my hands and just held them close to her face, I couldn't get over this

"We need to get you to Emma"

"No I'm fine" she was still catching her breath

"Babe, you need to sleep!"

Penelope just tears up, I pulled her into a hug and just held her tight and didn't let go, I've never seen Penelope cry but she broke down, she was crying

"Pezz, were going to fix this"

She nods her head into my shoulder, this was a big step for us, Penelope is very strong and hates being vulnerable, were very close and comfortable with each other but it's no secrete that Penelope takes care of me, she's the big spoon and I'm her little spoon, and I love that but, Penelope was letting me in truely I'm letting me see and deal with ever emotion she has and not hiding it.

"Come on I'll walk you down"

I picked her up as I stood up, we were standing and she had tears still running on her face, I rubbed them away and wrapped my arms around her neck

"I got you." I needed with a wink and smirk

"My hero" she rolled her eyes and wrapped her arms around my waist, I pulled her into another hug and she ran her hand up and down my back, I knew she was nervous she always moves her hand around my back when she's nervous or doesn't know what to do, we broke out hug and she placed her forehead on mine,

"Josie" she sighs and shaking her head against mine, I tilted my head and kissed her, we locked lips in a passionate and tender kiss, it was full of emotions and she knew that,

"Come on" I whispered

I interlocked our fingers and and she tightened her grip before leaving the room, we just locked eyes and I nodded, she wrapped her other arm in and around our locked hand pulling her closer to me, know was out in the halls as classes have started and dad gave us a few days to recover, we get to Emma room and leaned or and placed a peck omg her cheek, pe elope looked paranoid, and on edge, I squeezed her hand reassuring her, we knocked on the door and Emma answered

"Girls, Penelope?!"

"We need your help Emma"

"What can I help with?"

I looked at Penelope and she was frightened something had her and holding something over her it felt like

"I need to sleep."

"She can't sleep Emma, after you know what ?"

"Come in girls!"
