The Incident Chapter 4

Chapter 4: The Rescue

    Jeremy closes the door and he slowly walked up to Lia saying, “I heard what you said, you want to break up with me, and get together with Max, heh, well..you will have to try,” Lia said, “Jeremy..why? If you don’t love me..why did you get together with me?” Jeremy said, “Well, I did love you, but when I found out that Max was a werewolf, I wanted to find out more about him, and make him mine,” Lia said, “Jeremy you can’t do this,” Jeremy said, “Yes I can, you can’t stop me from doing it,” Lia got an idea, she sighed and said, “I guess you’re right Jeremy, I can’t stop you from doing it.” BonnieFan looked at Lia and both Jeremy and BonnieFan asked, “What?” Jeremy asked, “You’re, agreeing with me?” BonnieFan whispered to Lia saying, “Lia what’s wrong with you?” Lia whispered back, “Don’t worry, I’m not actually agreeing with him, I’m just acting,” BonnieFan whispered, “Oh alright,” Jeremy said, “Well..Lia, would you like to come see what I’m doing to Max?” Lia said, “Sure, sounds like fun,” Jeremy said, “Alright, I’ll be waiting in my car just in case you need to get anything, bye.” Jeremy left the closing the door, BonnieFan said, “Lia you have to save Max,” Lia said, “Yeah, I know, but when I’m in, what do I do?” BonnieFan replied, “I don’t know, try and find him, when you do, break him out,” Lia said, “Alright.” Both BonnieFan and Lia left the house, Lia locked the door, BonnieFan started to walk home, Lia got into Jeremy’s car, she buckled in and Jeremy drove off.

    Some time passed, Jeremy drove up to the gate of a lab, the guard said, “ID.” Jeremy showed him his id card, he asked pointing to Lia, “What about her?” Jeremy said, “She’s with me,” the guard said, “Alright.” He opened the gate, Jeremy drove in, Jeremy parked his car in the parking lot, both Lia and Jeremy got out of the car, they walked up to the door to the lab and Jeremy swiped his card. The door opened when Jeremy swiped his card, Lia walked in first and then Jeremy walked inside. Lia saw a lot of stuff, Jeremy said, “Interesting, right?” Lia said, “Yeah, really interesting,” Jeremy said, “You can have a look around if you want, just don’t get into any trouble, alright?” Lia nodded her head and she ran off to see if she could find Max but also pretending to look around. When Lia was looking around, she saw different animals and they all had something on their head, Lia still didn’t see Max but she kept looking, Lia was unable to find Max until she heard Max howling, she followed the howl, she hid around the corner watching some of Jeremy’s crew put a muzzle on Max, they said, “That’ll keep you quiet you stupid wolf.” They left and she saw Max was in chains unable to move, Lia ran up to Max and he was looking down, she took the muzzle off of him, Max looked up a bit at Lia and he didn’t say anything, Lia put her hand on Max’s cheek, she said, “It’s okay Max, I’m here to break you out, I just have to try and get you out of these chains, alright?” She started to try and break the chains but she was unable to, Lia grunted but she contied to try and break the chains, Max said, “Lia…behind you.” Lia turned around, she saw Jeremy standing their with security and she froze, she didn't say anything, Jeremy said, “Lia, what do you think you’re doing,” Lia said, “Well..um..” Jeremy said, “Lia, leave now or else,” Lia stood up and she said, “No, I’m not leaving Max with you, I’m taking him with me,” Jeremy said, “I don’t think so, he’s staying with us, and there’s nothing you can do about it,” Lia said, “Just let him go! He did nothing wrong!” Jeremy said, “He killed my grandfather!” Lia didn’t respond, Jeremy said, “Yeah, that’s right, that baster killed him, he ripped his heart out of his chest, me and my dad tried to stop him, but we were too late, he ripped it out already, my grandfather wanted me to kill him so I tried using super high pitched noises to do it, but you and your other friends got away before I could finish the job, but now, I have the chance to kill him, just before that best ran off, I saw his red bandana, and when I saw Max with it, I knew he was the werewolf so I devised a plan to try and kill him, and now here we are.” Lia looked at Max, she seemed upset, she looked at Jeremy and she said, “Jeremy...please..don’t kill Max, he didn’t know what he was doing, really,” Jeremy said, “I don’t care! He killed someone I love and now I will kill him.” Jeremy pointed a gun with tranquilizer darts at Lia and he said, “But first, I’m going to put you to sleep.” Lia backed up seeming scared, Jeremy shot the tranquilizer dart but Max blocked it getting hit with it his snout, his head fell to the ground, Jeremy said, “You dam mutt!!” Max tried waking up, his sight was blurry and he wasn’t able to see much but then he fell asleep but before his hearing went away, he heard screaming and gunshots.
