The Incident Chapter 6

Chapter 6: The Resurrection

It has already been 5 months since Max’s death and then Lia got a call, she answered her phone and she said, “Hello,” the person on the other line was a doctor and he said, “Greetings, is this Lia?” she replied, “Yeah, this is Lia,” he told Lia an address and to bring her kids with her and Lia said, “Alright, I’ll be right there.” Lia hung up the phone, she got Leo and Scarlet and she went to the address she was told with them. When they arrived, a man in a doctor’s outfit lead them to one of the rooms and before he opened it, he said, “Alright, what you all are about to see is true, he’s still here.” Lia asked, “Who?” he said, “You’ll see who.” They nodded, they walked in after the doctor opened the door and they all gasped. They saw Max connected to machines checking his breathing, heart beats and other stuff, they walked up to him, they were surprised, Lia started crying tears of joy, Leo and Scarlet hugged him, Max wasn’t waking up, the doctor closed the door and walked in. He said, “Lia, I brought you here, to show you this, your husband Max, is still alive, he’s right now in a coma, he can’t hear us though, but somehow, he’s able to know what you and your kids were doing,” Lia asked, “But how?” he said “I have no idea,” Lia asked, “But wait, how did you know Max was my husband? How did you get my phone number and how do you know my name?” Thalia walked into the room, she said, “Hey Lia, if you don’t know already but, this is my husband, Michael,” Lia said, “Oh right, sorry Michael, I’ve just been so sad and upset that Max passed away,” Michael said, “Max wasn’t actually dead, his body somehow regenerated after the explosion, when I found him, he was whole, so I brang him here to recover but, it’s been 3 months and he still hasn’t woken up,” Leo and Scarlet stayed closed to Max and Leo said, “Dad..please wake up..” Scarlet was crying, Lia knelt down to them, she clutched Max’s bandana and she said, “Kids, it’ll be alright, your father will wake up soon, I hope.” Leo, Scarlet and Lia hugged each other, Lia got a phone call, she answered it, she said, “Hello, this is Lia” the person on the other line was BonnieFan, she said, “Hey Lia, it’s BonnieFan,” Lia said, “Oh hey BonnieFan, what’s up?” BonnieFan said, “Nothing much, just wanted to know if you wanted to hang out,” Lia said, “Not right now, I’m with Max and he’s actually alive, I’m with him at an address Michael gave me,” BonnieFan asked, “No way really? Can you give me the address?” Once BonnieFan had the address, she called Funtime Foxy, Savan, Kayla, Chris and Dash and she gave them the address Lia gave her. They all later arrived at the address, they walked into the room, saw that Max was hooked up to the machines and they all gasped. They walked up to him, they said some things to Max but then they all of a sudden got a text from an unknown number, it said to go to the forest and it gave them all coordinates. Lia said, “Let’s go kids, I don’t know why but we have to go to these coordinates,” Leo and Scarlet said, “Okay mom,” Kayla said, “Me and Chris will stay with Max, I just want to be with my son,” Lia said, “Alright.”

    Later, they left to go to the coordinates and Leo and Scarlet were feeling something was wrong about the coordinates they were going too. When they arrived, they got put into a cage, they were all confused, they were all scared because they didn’t know what was happening as they all saw Jeremy come out from the darkness of the forest, they all gasped and Lia said, “Jeremy? But you died in the explosion,” Jeremy said, “You thought that, but I escaped through an escape hatch and got away from the explosion, I went to hiding to train and learn, you all can’t defeat me now, and you can’t escape.” Leo tried remembering what Max taught him and he started having a flashback from almost a year ago. In the flashback, Leo was with Max in their backyard trying to transform, he wasn’t able to, he sighed and said, “I can’t do it, it’s too hard dad,” Max said, “I know it is, but you have to keep trying, just stop trying to hard, calm down and think, think of what your is transformation going to be, you can do it son, I just know you can, you just have to believe.” The flashback ended, Leo whispered something to Scarlet, Leo transformed into a bird, he got out of the cage, Scarlet transformed into a cat, Leo turned into his wolf form, he flew closes enough for Scarlet to land on his back, he looked at Lia, she smiled, Leo said, “Mom, we’ll go get dad, and then we’ll come back for you all,” Lia said, “Alright,” Jeremy saw them and he exclaimed, “HEY! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?!” Lia exclaimed, “RUN!!” Scarlet held on with her claws, Leo flew away quickly, Jeremy started shooting at Leo and Scarlet but he missed his shots, he said, “Grr, fine by me, they won’t do anything to help you now.” Spicy, Freddy, Thompson hugged each other while BonnieFan and Lia hugged each other and they were all scared. Meanwhile, Leo was flying but he started to wobble while flying, Scarlet asked, “What’s wrong bro?” Leo landed, he yelped, he went onto his side and he saw that a bullet was in his leg, Leo said, “Jeremy shot me in my leg, I don’t think I’ll be able to walk.” Scarlet put her paw on Leo’s leg, somehow the bullet came out and Leo’s leg was healed. He looked at Scarlet and he asked, “How did you do that?” Scarlet said, “I don’t know, mom and dad did say that some of their powers were transferred to us.” Both Leo and Scarlet started having flashbacks to when they first found out they had powers, Max was saying, “I had my powers, or abilities, when I was a young wolf pup, I was ten years old and Jeremy’s dad was trying to make me a weapon of war, he gave me these abilities but before he controlled my mind, my dad came to rescue me,” Lia said, “Yeah, I got my powers or abilities from a mysteries container I found at age 14, I was scared but my parents helped me through it,” Leo asked, “But how did we get our powers?” Max said, “Your abilities were inherited by your mother’s and my genes, you both got our abilities but both your abilities are different and you may or may not have all of our abilities,” Scarlet asked, “So can we both transform into animals?” Lia said, “Yes you can, but me and Max mainly stay as our forms which are a winged wolf for Max and a cat for me,” Leo said, “Cool.” The flash back ended, Leo said, “I think you got dad’s healing ability,” Scarlet said, “Cool, but we need to get to dad.” Leo put his paw on Scarlet, he then teleported away with her to where Max was, Leo said, “Looks like I got dad’s teleportation.” They got up as they didn’t see Chris or Kayla thinking they left to get something to eat, they changed back into their human forms and they both started shaking Max trying to wake him up. Scarlet said, “Dad wake up! Please!” Leo said, “Dad! Mom is going to die if you don’t wake up! Please!” Lia was on the ground bleeding and crying while Jeremy put a gun to her head. Lia looked at everyone who was on the ground knocked out, she was frightened, she exclaimed, “MAX WILL COME SAVE ME!! YOU’LL SEE!!”  Jeremy pulled back the hammer of his gun and he said, “He won’t save you now, last I heard, he was in a coma, you, will, die Lia.” Max woke up, Lia clutched Max’s bandana, Jeremy was about to pull the trigger and he was about to shoot Lia in the head, but Max punched Jeremy through the heart, Jeremy fell to the floor, Max walked up to Lia, he helped her up and he asked, “You okay Lia?” She hugged Max tightly, he hugged her back, Lia saw everyone was gone, she knew Max took them back to Michael, the both held hands, Lia said, “Thank you so much Max,” Max said, “You’re welcome Lia.” Jeremy was only barely alive, he shot his gun, he got Lia in the heart, she fell to the ground, Max was shocked and he exclaimed in anguish, “NO!!! LIA!!!!” Jeremy giggled evilly one last time, he then finally died, Max held Lia in his arms, Lia said, “M-Max...p-promise m-me something,” Max was crying, his eye color was dark blue, he said, “A-Anything Lia,” Lia said, “P-Please...t-take care o-of Leo and Scarlet for me..” Max said, “Lia...I-I don’t want you to go..” Lia kissed Max, he kissed her back, Lia closed her eyes and stopped. Max’s tears ran down his face, he put his head down on Lia and he was still crying. Michael, BonnieFan, Savan, Jack, Dash, Funtime Foxy, Leo, Scarlet, Thalia, Spicy, Freddy, Thompson, Chris and Kayla saw Max with Lia’s body, Leo and Scarlet started crying, they hugged Chris and Kayla while they hugged them back to try and comfort them.
