The Incident Chapter 5

Chapter 5: Losing a loved one

    Lia asked, “M-Max, you bought us a new house? And it’s painted, d-did you paint it all yourself?” Max said, “Yeah bought it just for us, it’s a two story house and I made it your favorite color because I knew you would love it, I actually did it all myself because, well, you deserve the best Lia.” Lia hugged Max, she kissed Max’s cheek, she said, “Thank you so much Max, you are the best husband ever,” Max said, “You’re welcome Lia, I even painted the inside but a different color, let’s head inside.” Max picked up Lia, she giggled, Max walked inside, he opened the door and Lia saw the inside of the house was the color red, she said, “Max, it’s beautiful, I love it so much.” Max put Lia down, he said, “I knew you would, the inside I actually had some help with this, I got the help from Freddy, Funtime Freddy, Spicy, Funtime Foxy and even Thompson, they all pitched in to help.” Lia hugged Max, he hugged her back, she put her hand on the back of his neck, Max held onto her waist, Lia smiled, Max smiled back, Lia kissed Max and he kissed back.

    A month has passed and Max was getting ready for something when Lia ran in, she was so excited, Max saw this and he asked, “Lia what’s up?” She said, “Max, I’m pregnant!” Max exclaimed in confusion, “What?!” Lia said, “Yeah, we’re going to be parents!” Max said, “Oh god.” Max sat down, Lia was confused, so she asked, “Max what’s wrong?” Max said, “I-I’m not ready to be a father yet,” Lia sat down next to Max and she said, “Max, look at me.” Max looked at Lia, she said, “Listen, you said a long time ago that you wanted to have a baby with me,” Max said, “Yeah I know but not now, I’m not ready.” Lia put her hand on Max’s, she said, “Max, I’ve always wanted to have a baby with you and now this is the time, please, be happy,” Max sighed and he said, “Alright Lia, I’ll be happy.” Max stood up, Lia asked, “Where are you going?” Max looked at Lia and he said, “Oh I have a meeting with my pack, oh and also you have to come with me Lia, it’s important,” Lia said, “Alright, let’s go then.” Later, Max was on a big rock where he usually stands when the pack’s having a meeting, Max had his wolf ears and tail out, he said, “Alright everyone, I have an announcement to make, I haven’t been to the pack for a while because I have been busy with something, someone actually.” Max looked at Lia who was behind him, he nodded, Lia walked up next to Max, he looked forward, the pack started growling at Lia, she got scared, she hugged Max while he exclaimed, “HEY! SETTLE DOWN RIGHT NOW!” The whole pack stopped growling, Max said, “No one growls at Lia anymore, she is my wife(mate in a wolf’s case) now, if she tells me that anyone either hurt her or is attempting to hurt her, you will be in big trouble, do I make myself clear?” The wolves agreed, Max said, “Good, if anyone has any questions and I’m home, howl for me, I will be able to hear it and I will come her, but if I’m here, come find me and I will answer any questions you have, you’re all dismissed.” The pack left to do their duties, Lia let go of Max, she looked at him, she smiled, Max looked at Lia and he smiled back. Later, all of Max’s friends were either standing up or sitting on the couch, Max said, “Guys, I’m glad you all could make it, Lia and I have a special announcement to make,” Dash asked, “What is it?” Thalia said, “I’m excited to hear it,” Lia said, “Well…me and Max are going to be parents with two kids!” Everyone gasped, they walked up to them and started talking to them and asking them questions.

    6 months later, Lia was taking deep breaths because her water broke while Max was driving her to the hospital, they both knew Lia was about to have the babies, they ran into traffic, Max honked his horn exclaiming, “MOVE IT!! MY WIFE IS ABOUT TO HAVE KIDS!!” The traffic was still slow, Lia said, “Max, I don’t think I’m going to make it,” Max looked at Lia and he said, “You have to, we just have to make it to the hospital.” Lia took deep breaths, Max thought of something, he got out of his car, he picked Lia and she asked, “Max what are you doing?” Max said, “Don’t worry, I got this.” Max transformed into his wolf form, flew up a few feet, he turned so his back was facing the ground, he put Lia on his stomach, Lia said, “Great idea Max, this has to work, but..you won’t be able to see where you’re going,” Max said, “Don’t worry, I can do this.” Max tilted his so he can see in front of him but everything was upside down but he somehow was able to know where he was going, they luckily made it to the hospital, he put Lia down gently, he changed back into his human form but he kept his wolf ears and tail out and he speeded walked into the hospital. Max was waiting outside of the room Lia was in because she was having the kids, Max was pacing because he was worried, the doctor came from the door, he looked at Max and said, “Sir, you may come in.” Max walked in, he saw Lia was hold his baby, Max walked up to Lia, she looked at Max, he walked up to her, Max said, “He’s...he’s amazing,” he looked at Lia and said, “Just like their mother.” Lia giggle, Max looked at them and he said, “Welcome to the world Leo.”
