Superfluous Crushing of My Heart

A thousand poems stating the same in
Each it's own eloquent matter, I could
Express this superfluous crushing spin
Of my heart. Though not in my likelihood

To assert my wishes and commit to
Like turtle doves. It's a devastating
Predicament I shyly ignore you,
Whose attention incapacitating--

Though I'd like to capture it--foolishly.
If we were not to wish, then dreams be not.
I wish to get to know you, suitably,
For you are a mystery, untaught.

Beauty spells produced by chocolate eyes
And black-haired charm that cause me butterflies.

A/N: my first Shakespearean sonnet I wrote last year for English class about a fucking boy (I may have written five more poems about him. yes I know I'm creepy). I turned this in to my teacher how embarrassing.

still I'm kinda proud of it? this was hard to write. I wish I could get over this stupid guy.
