Fallen

they're blinded by holy light
as angels grasp onto their home
they won't be taking flight

dark storm clouds like atmospheric freight
they're touched by homesick syndrome
they're blinded by holy light

cast away from an enormous height
forced on solid land to roam
they won't be taking flight

but it's such a gorgeous sight
the curse of the holy tome
they're blinded by holy light

each shining star an angel in the sky night
with a matching skeleton in a catacomb
they won't be taking flight

for they tried with all their might
but it's not the proem
they're blinded by holy light
they won't be taking flight
