"Up! Up! Up!"

*thud*

"Shiiiiiinyaaaaa!" the ravenette whined as he stood up from the floor.

"Sorry to wake you so suddenly, I hadn't planned for you to fall on the floor~" the man chuckled.

"Why are you waking me up anyway?"

"Well that's because Sayuri and the others are visiting today, you mustn't oversleep!"

Yuichiro turned his head to check the time "it's only 8:35! They're coming around lunchtime!!"

"Well actually there's another reason I had to wake you, Guren wants to see you in the throne room."

the boy let out a long sigh. "Fine." he then turned around to see the blonde curled up in the blanket fast asleep. "Can he sleep through anything!?"

"He looks so peaceful, I'm really glad he feels at home here!" Shinya smiled.

"So he gets to sleep but not me? What the hell!?"

"Shhhhhh, let your sleeping beauty sleep, come now." the man said leading the way out of the bedroom.

"Oh good, you're up." Guren said as the ravenette entered the large room. "You can't just sleep your life away you know."

"Wow, good morning to you too." he said sarcastically. "And it's not even 9:00 yet, I've found there's no reason for me to wake up before 8:00."

"Where's Mikaela?" Guren said, completely dropping the last conversation.

"Uh asleep still; probably."

"You both must learn to wake up earlier. As King you'll have all of the responsibilities, the sooner you get them taken care of, the better."

"Come on, I'm not gonna get up before the sun does! Besides, Mika gets headaches when he doesn't get enough sleep."

"I expect you to be willing to give up some things, as King life won't be as easy as it is now. You have to mature faster than most."

"Yeah, yeah. So did you just wake me up to tell me being King is gonna be hard? I already know that much."

"Were you not listening? The main reason I had you wake up was to teach you to sacrifice some things, such as sleeping in."

"That's ridiculous! So when the other Kings talk about their awesome sword fighting am I suppose to say 'oh yeah, my dad trained me to wake up earlier!' That's lame as hell!"

"You'll learn more with time, it's not even January yet, you have to learn the basics first. Not learning the easy stuff is like jumping head first into the ocean without knowing how to swim, take small steps first."

"You've lost me." the ravenette said as he stood blinking at the older male.

"....Hey is it too late to cancel this whole thing!?" Guren yelled to no one in particular.

"No!! I promise I'll listen to what you tell me, even the super boring stuff!!"

"Well It's not like you have much of a choice, but by you listening sooner, it will make things easier, so good."

"Soooo anything else?" the ravenette said as he finally took a seat across the older male.

Yuichiro fluffed the soft, white, pillow in his hands "perfect!" he smiled. He then chucked the object at the still sleeping blonde.

"Ah!" Mikaela yelled out, head popping up from the bed. "Yuu-chan!!"
