Allesandra De Vitis was not born a normal girl on the night of May 26th 1493 in Sicily, Italy. In fact, she wasn't remotely human internally, only externally with the vessel in which she was born. This vessel which she inhabited contained a celestial and demonic being within.

Allesandra was a flawed perfection created by God, half-abomination and half-purity, the only one of her kind. Her father created her to restore the balance in humanity. For there was no perfect human, only those who were good and those who were bad. Allesandra represented the good and evil of the earth symbolically.

The Nephalem was born approximately one year after the second Petrova vampire failed to have her destiny sealed in death when she escaped the clutches of the original vampire Niklaus Mikaelson, by becoming a creature of the night.

The Nephalem was here to restore the balance.
