"Okay, so you want us to believe that you are an angel?" Damon remarked, scoffing at the absurd idea that came from the 'angel' that sat on his couch in the Boardinghouse living room.

"Think about it Damon, if supernatural creatures like vampires, werewolves and witches exist why can't angels?" Stefan pointed out to which Damon smirked. "Never took you for a religious man Stefan."

Stefan shook his head at his brother and then turned to look at Allesandra who sat calmly on the leather couch in the Salvatore boarding house. "I am happy to answer any questions which you have."

Stefan and Damon glanced at each other and Stefan proceeded to question her. "Why are you Elena's guardian angel?"

"It's my duty," She simply answered.

Damon rolled his eyes at the simple answer, "We get that, but why?"

"Because Elena, as you have seen from yesterday is in danger. I provide protection and assurance that she shall not die," Allesandra revealed to the brothers.

"What do you know of Klaus?" Damon asked.

"I know that he wants your girlfriends head on a silver platter. I'll allow Rose to explain since she knows of him more personally considering she ran from him for five hundred years," Allesandra said and turned to face Rose who almost flinched at her burning gaze. Rose was scared of the nephalem, understandably so since she was able to make her internally bleed just by looking at her.

"Okay, you have to understand I only know what I've picked up over the years and I don't know what's true and what's not true. It's the problem with all this vampire crap but Klaus, I know he's real," Rose explained to the vampires while pacing.

Elena looked at her questioningly. "Who is he?"

"He's one of the originals, he's a legend," Damon spoke up and Stefan continued, "From the first generation of vampires."

"Like Elijah?"

Rose shook her head. "No. Elijah was the Easter bunny compared to Klaus. He's a foot soldier. Klaus is the real deal."

"Klaus is known to be the oldest," Stefan added.

"Klaus is not the oldest contrary to popular belief. He is the third oldest out of the originals, Elijah is older than him," Allesandra chimed in and Elena looked at her taking it all in. "Okay, so you're saying that one of the oldest vampires in the history of time is coming after me?"

Rose and Allesandra said, "Yes." Whereas Stefan said the opposite trying to comfort his girlfriend, "No."

Damon interrupted the three saying, "What they're saying is, I mean if what she's saying is true..."

"Which it is," Rose stated and Damon carried on, "And you're not saying it so I don't kill you."

"Which I'm not."

Damon gave a tight smile. "Then we're looking at a solid maybe."

Stefan noticed the distress on Elena's face and was quick to give some reassuring words and walked over to her, "Look, Elijah's dead, right? So no one else even knows that you exist."

"Not that you know of," Rose piped up and Damon looked at her in annoyance, "That's not helping."

"Look, I've never even met anyone who's laid eyes on him. I mean, we're talking centuries of truth mixed with fiction. We don't know if he's real. For all we know he could just be some sort of stupid bedtime story," Stefan said to Elena trying to calm her down.

His words evidently frustrated Rose as he didn't believe her. "He's real and he doesn't give up. If he wants something, he gets it. If you're not afraid of Klaus, then you're an idiot."

Damon rolled his eyes and gave Rose a glare, "Alright, we're shaking. You made your point."

"Rose is right. Klaus exists and it would be ignorant of you to think otherwise. You have nothing to fear Elena, I shall protect you and I'm sure Damon and Stefan will too," Allesandra told the doppelganger who continued to look distressed and overwhelmed.

Elena suddenly stood up and swung her bag over her shoulder and began to walk towards the door. Stefan looked at her in confusion, "Where are you going?"

Elena glanced back to look at him and paused before saying, "School. I'm late."

Stefan proceeded to stand up from the couch, "Let me grab my stuff, I'll go with you."

"It's okay, I know where it is," Elena said quickly stopping him from going with her then left.

Damon leaned towards Rose, "She's in denial."

Stefan narrowed his eyes and turned back to face his brother in annoyance, "Shut up, Damon."

Allesandra, as promised, had become the primary protector of Elena and with that role came criticism from few. Few being the Salvatore brothers. She thought it would be Damon that was going to be the brother to first criticise her for making a 'mistake' or not trying hard enough to protect Elena. She was surprised at the fact that it was the youngest brother who was the one to summon her and then proceed to lecture her.

Allesandra had informed everyone that the best way to contact her was through prayer. So Stefan prayed for Allesandra to come to him, which she did in the blink of an eye.

"Hello Stefan, to what do I owe the pleasure?"

Stefan immediately narrowed his eyes at the angel, "You let Elena go to Katherine."

"Nice observation Stefan," She snidely commented, walking over to the alcohol cabinet and poured herself a glass of whiskey. "Not the biggest fan of whiskey," She commented, putting the lid back on the bottle. "But I digress."

Stefan's annoyance with the angel grew as she appeared careless as she took a gulp of the drink, "How could you allow her to talk to Katherine? She's dangerous."

She pulled the glass away from her lips and her eyes flickered to Stefan and she took notice of his frustration. "Relax Stefan, perhaps I should pour you a glass of whiskey, or blood. Whatever you prefer."

Stefan rolled his eyes and chose to ignore her and continued. "You're meant to protect her."

"Well, is she hurt?"

Stefan's jaw clenched. "No. No thanks to me."

"Then I don't see the issue," Allesandra finished off her drink and placed the glass down. "You see Stefan, I shall protect Elena only when she needs protecting. So when she is perfectly safe from outside the tomb when talking to Katherine I don't see the need to protect her from the situation when she wouldn't get harmed. Even if so, I would've appeared in a heartbeat to save the damsel in distress."

"Katherine said that Klaus killed her family, is that true?" Stefan asked to see if Katherine for once was telling the truth.

Allesandra nodded, "For once Katherine told the truth regarding herself and Klaus. After she fled he already knew where she was from so it was only a matter of tracking down the exact location of where she lived. Unfortunately, he bet her to her village and you know the rest."

Stefan's face was grave as she spoke, concern laced his face for Elena and her family. "The Moonstone is in the tomb with Katherine. Can you get it?"

Allesandra almost scoffed at the question. "Of course I can. It's fine in there for the time being though, no one can get it when it's in there. We can get it when the times right."

"I'd rather we have it now," Stefan argued.

"Well, then you better get it yourself then."
