yesterday we were all driving the streets at midnight and it felt like before. before everything got screwed up, before we fell apart, before becoming an adult meant losing the very people you find your identity in.

we had french fries in our mouths and coke cans in our hands, and the car ran out of gas halfway down the highway but we didn't care, just laughed on the side of the road while we waited for help to come.

i propped my feet up on your seat and you tapped out a rhythm on the toes of my converse, and we laughed at memories from years before and played truth or dare like we were all twelve again.

i missed you, i missed you all, and i want it to be like this forever.
