Chapter 3

Liz pov.

So I went upstairs after my mom just told me that we are having to move to a different state and is getting married. I thought to myself why are we moving in I don't even know these people I mean I kind of know Owen because I meet him a couple of time, but his sons I never meet before and I kind of don't want to the only thing I do know about them is that one already moved out so their are two left in the house. I was sitting on my bed listening to music and thinking about all of this when their was a knock on my door I said come in. I looked up from my phone because I was changing the play list to my 1d playlist when I looked up I seen that it was Owen He was probably coming in here to talk to me about the move. I asked him what are you doing in my room he said he wanted to talk to me about the move and about the boys. he said that the move wont be that bad, but he also said the boys are in high-school and that they would probably more than likely mess with me or be protective of me I just thought oh great so I might have 3 protective older brothers I ask him how old they was he said that the oldest is 23 or 24 I wasn't really paying that much attention and the other two was 16 and 17 years old so yeah their way older that me because I'm 13 years old .

Ashley pov.

After Liz walked of I said to Owen that he should probably go up and talk to Liz about the boys because she never meet them before because they live out of state from us we live in Texas while they live in Mississippi I mean she barely meet Owen before because when ever he is here I always go out with him. Owen thought that going up and talking to her about everything that is happening would be a good idea that way he could go and try to get to know his soon to be step daughter a little bit sense they don't really know each other that well.I decide tonight I would tell her to start packing because we would be leaving at the ending of next week.

Liz's pov.
After Owen left my room I decided to call my best friend Leigh and tell her to come over I don't think she ever meet Owen, but I needed to tell her that I was having to moving to Mississippi. Leigh pick up almost immediately said
Leigh: hey Lizzy bear whatcha up to
Liz: I said nothing mush listening to music. Can you come over for a little bit I need to talk to you and tell you something important
Leigh: ok I be over in like 20 bye see you in a little bit
Liz: ok bye

Leigh pov.
So I was doing homework work and listening to All Time Low when I my phone starts ringing I look at who it is and it says Lizzy 🐻. I thought to myself she never calls unless it something important or sad about something because she usually either Snapchat me or text me some I answered the phone immediately and sounds upset she asked me to come over I said yeah I be over in like 20 she said ok.
When I get to her house I just walk in and yell HONEY I'M HOME like I always do her mom is used to  it by, now she used to freak out saying someone broke in, but soon got used  to it. When I walk in I see some guy run in the living room and sees me standing there. I stop in my tracks and look at him and ask him  who the hell are you? He says don't cuss and who are you and what are you doing  here? I said well I asked you first. Than I see Lizzy walk down the stairs and said relax Owen she's my best friend so quite interrogating her and let her come up stairs. We go upstairs and talk for a long time I  was telling her how I'm  going back to London in May to visit family and to see my favorite band All Time Low in concert. Than liz told me that she had to move to Mississippi and I said to Liz your leaving me she said Leigh I'm not leaving you we will still text and FaceTime each other I said ok. Then asked her where her mom was Lizzy said downstairs probably why she said know reason than ran out of my room and down the stairs and Lizzy  mom and this guy named Owen was sitting on the couch I went up to her mom her mom said hi. I basically yelled your taking her away from me and can I be one of your bridesmaid she said yes you and Liz can be bridesmaid and laughed. Ashely also said you can come and visit whenever you want to, but I just said can I move with you  she laughed and said no you can't move with us to Mississippi. She walked back upstairs and sat down at the bay window.  I decided to text my mom and tell her I was spending the night at Liz's house she said that's fine but told me when I got back I needed to start packing for London I said I will and said bye.

Owen's pov.
(Before Leigh comes over)
I go upstairs to go talk to Liz because I really don't know her that well because when I am in Texas in usually going out with her mom. When I go upstairs I look for her room and I knock on her door after she says come in I open the door to see her laying on her bed listening to music see takes one earbud out of her ear and looks up from her phone and said what are you doing up here I thought you and mom was going to go out for a little bit. I said we decided not to go out and stay here because it started raining. She said oh ok than looked back at her phone changing her playlist. I ask her what are you listening to she says 1d I ask her who is that she looks at me funny and say one direction. I say oh sorry I don't have any daughter I only have all boys and they don't really listen to music that much they are to busy playing video games, hanging out with their friends, or playing sports. I  eventually got up and left Liz's room.
