"He doesn't know." Renjun whispered through the earpiece, clutching a gun in his hand.

He sneaked behind a dumpster pressed on the brick wall of an alleyway near their apartment. He wiped the crystal tears away, the thought of assassinating him tore his heart after being close to the younger all his life.

"Renjun, you have to eliminate Chenle as soon as possible, he's a threat to us and the whole country." Taeyong answered from the other line, the rapid clicking in the background as he kept receiving information about other psycho's or Mad Hatters.

"Hyung, you never told me why he's a threat." He sighed, fumbling with the weapon with his black gloved hands.

"He's planning to bomb SM Headquarters, and we can't let him do that."

"Hyung, I know you too well to know that you're lying and hiding the real truth. TELL. ME. NOW." Renjun demanded, seething through his teeth. The older sighed and stopped whatever he's doing, leaning against the chair.

"He's out of this world, Renjun." He started, stretching his limbs. "Chenle's not ordinary like us. He has Death God's Domain, so he's too dangerous to be fighting alone, especially with regular guns. So that's why Doyoung and Jaemin made a special weapon for that job."

"A- Alright, I- I'll be doing this." He stuttered, standing up and patting his pants. He re-emerged from the dark alleyway and made a beeline towards their apartment.

'Chenle, why didn't you tell me this?' His feet dreaded going home, his breath hitching in his throat.

"There will be more troops coming for back-up whenever something bad happens." He reminded the younger, who didn't say anything about it.

He entered their dark home, it only brought sadness and guilt in his heart. No calmness, no sweet memories. Just... dread...

"I'm home!" He yelled out, a pair of feet trudged down the stairs as a particular violet-haired male launched himself in the other's arms, hugging him tightly, never pulling away.

"Welcome home, love." He whispered in his ear, which didn't sound as sweet as before.

Before he knew it, he was bounded by his legs, freezing him in place as vines wrapped itself around his legs. He gasped, looking up at Chenle with tears on both of the boys' eyes.

"I'm sorry, hyung." Chenle sobbed out, whipping out a katana and stabbing it behind Renjun's back, having enough strength from Death God's Domain to pierce the weapon through both of their hearts.

The younger collapsed in the other's arms, flying into heaven with his loved one, as both of them lost their breathing and their hearts stopped in sync. The vines kept Renjun upright as they held onto each other's limp bodies.

The time when the troops along with Jaemin and Taeyong barged into the home, it was already too late.

"God damnit Renjun." Taeyong cursed, pulling at his dark locks. "DAMN IT!"

Jaemin cupped his mouth, tears already pooling from his eyes and slipping down his cheeks, losing another person he etched into his life.

"W- We lost another one, hyung." He stuttered, hicupping. "W- We lost 2 assassins now. First Jeno, now Renjun..."

"W- We can't lose another one." Taeyong turned to him, anger radiating off of him. "Make Jisung a cyborg, we can't give him away to the Death God too."

"Yes, sir."

Jaemin stepped towards the two lovers, the sight tearing him into two, especially that they both died with their eyes open.

He brought his hands up to their eyes, trailing it down so that Renjun and Chenle's eyes clasped closed, getting a photographic memory of the two's position before exiting the home filled with memories. All good and bad ones about Renjun and Chenle.
