Hybrid!AU

The cold winter air bit his button-like nose as he trudged on top of the thick, white snow as dirt-less as his double coat.

The brown-eyed samoyed growled at the blizzard, his eyes squinting up front, with a cold, metal chain hanging from his neck, whimpering in fear at the thought of choking to death by the thick, metal intertwined bars.

He stopped in front of a large, peach-coloured house, with the scratch-less windows covered over by the velvet curtains, blinding him of the inside.

Standing by the wooden door, he howled, hoping the person inside could hear his cries for help. If there is one inside.

The steel knob twisted and the door slowly creaked open, a black-haired male's head peeking out.

"Doyoung?" The male asked, an eyebrow raised.

The samoyed just howled again, urging him to let him inside the cozy, warm house of the elder.

Taeyong sighed as he sauntered back to the living room, a blue-haired male with fluffy, snow-white ears and tail sitting near the fireplace, a silk blanket around his slim frame.

"Why were you outside? In the blizzard, in fact, and a metal chain hung around your neck." He asked the hybrid, who accepted the hot chocolate and said nothing as of now.

The older sat beside him and lifted the said twisted metal in his hand, clinking together.

The younger knew he couldn't just stay quiet about the horrific event 5 months until now.

"I was kicked out of the last foster home," Doyoung started, slowly stirring the chocolate in the mug, staring into it. "they really didn't care anyways, they fed me nothing but scraps of their leftover food. They do not even know I'm a hybrid."

"All the shelters are closed due to the blizzard, you can't possibly just wander your way to the nearest one." Taeyong played with his soft ears, the other leaning into his touch.

"I know, that's why I'm here."

The atmosphere is now covered in silence, neither of the two uttering another word.

"Adopt me." Doyoung suddenly spoke, catching the raven-haired off guard.

"What?" He gawked, gaping at the hybrid.

"I said, Adopt me."
