Alec POV
3 days later
Alec had fallen asleep on the window sill. He dreamt that he had killed Camille and that he was still with Magnus. The blue scarf incident still happened and he was still jealous for some reason over that Will guy but otherwise, everything was perfect. His dad still hated him but that was nothing new.
Alec was woken by him almost falling out of the window, "Holy shi-" He gasped and braced himself.
"Alec! Come on we're leaving!" Izzy's voice rang out through the halls.
Alec knew that this day was coming ever since that attack on the LA institute yesterday. He wanted to call Magnus to tell him that they had to go to Idris but Jace broke it. Jace had gone to Magnus's to talk to him and so he figured Izzy would call Jace.
"Alright, I'm coming," Alec yelled back, He tried to get off the window sill but his foot caught and he fell down, "So much for Shadowhunter grace," He mumbled. He got up and grabbed his bag out of his closet and ran down the stairs.
He got out from the institute and wanted Magnus to be there to open the portal but instead, he found Catarina. He sighed and sat his bag down on the ground. A moment later he saw Magnus enter the garden. His breath caught and he looked down at the ground. Magnus was talking to Clary for a moment before making his way over to Alec.
"Come on." He said into Alec's ear sending shivers down Alec's back. Magnus walked over to the other end of the garden and Alec followed not knowing what was going to happen next.
