Chapter Twenty Six

Cyndy's P.O.V.

After nearly a year of being engaged, I was finally married to the most amazing man. It was the weekend of our honey moon and I was excited. Brian had paid for us to stay a week in Atlantis in the Bahamas. It was a nice getaway. Then, after he surprised me with tickets to Busch Gardens' HowlScream haunted attraction. I was stoked, a romantic getaway then a scare fest, all with my wonderful newly husband.

We left yesterday for the Bahamas, and arrived early this morning. I was speechless at the sight. It was breathtaking. I've never seen any place so beautiful before. The beaches were crystal clear, with the most whitest of sands.

We got to our hotel, and it was ginormous. We had a suite room near the top floor of the resort. Brian and I stood on the balcony and admired the view.

"Brian, this is just paradise. Truly." I say.

"Only the best for my wife." He said looking at me.

I giggled and kissed him.

"Come on. Lets get some rest then head to the beach." He said.

I held my hand and led me inside. We laid down on the bed and cuddled up close to each other. I soonly fell asleep in his arms. It was the most comfortable place in the universe. I felt so protected, so loved, so cherished. I've never felt that before.

A few hours passed and we woke up. We got changed and walked down to the beach. Barely no one was there. We walked down it for awhile just talking. Then, out of no where he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.

"Brian!" I exclaimed.

He laughed as he took off running into the water. He threw me in and I went fully underwater. I came up and took a breath of air. I looked at Brian who was laughing his ass off. I charged at him and tackled him under the water. He came out of the water and picked me up again. This time he spun me around and kissed me. I kissed him back and smiled.

"Mm, I love you." I say.

"I love you too, baby girl." He said happily.

He set me down and we played in the water for nearly hours. After, we got done we went back to the hotel and changed. We headed to the hotel bar and had a few beers and mixed drinks sea side. It was amazing, just enjoying each other company.

The next week went by way too fast. The water park was amazing. I usually didn't like water rides, but I got over that quickly with Brian. But, alas, we had to leave paradise and go to the next best place. Howlscream. I was beyond stoked, I've never been all the years I lived in Florida.

We finally arrived in Florida and I was excited. More excited than I was for Atlantis. We got out hotel close to Busch Gardens. That day we went riding all the rides. Some of them were scary, but I liked it. By nightfall, all the real fun began.

People dressed up in costumes, it was weird, but I liked that about Halloween. They had scary hay rides, and corn mazes, and a lot of scary people running around. I got grabbed a couple times, and chased around by guys with chainsaws.

"Reminds me of the night I proposed." Brian laughed.

"I know! It's amazing. Thank you for bringing me!" I say excitedly.

"You're welcome." He said.

He held my hand as we walked the rest of the Howlscream fest. It was one of the best haunted attractions I have ever been to. It wasn't a ordinary place to be for a honey moon, but it was amazing.

I never thought that I'd end up marrying Brian. I always thought he'd stay chained up by his marriage. Yet, he broke the chains and came back to me. After, all the fights, and arguments, and sneaking around, it all was worth it for this ending. I never believed in true love, I always got hurt. I did get hurt, yet Brian picked up the pieces. He came back for me and showed me what it's like to be happy. I loved him with all my being, I wouldn't change a thing thy had happened. Our past makes our relationship what it is now, everything that had happened, was worth it.
