At least she turned on the A/C! But now I'm FREEZING!
"Hey Sky!" What? Oh! What a pleasant surprise! It's Preston! He's on my bus?! "Hey Preston!" I can't hold it anymore! I am now smiling uncontrollably! "Well you seem happy to see me!" He is so funny! "Yeah, I am! I don't usually have anyone to talk to on the bus" Oh no I probably sound depressing! "Well now you have me" His smile is so perfect! "Y-yeah thanks!" Ugh I sound so stupid. "Um do you mind if I, uh, s-sit with you?" He sounds nervous. Is that a good sign, or a bad sign? "Sure! Why not, right?" The next time the bus stopped, he quickly sat next to me. He smiled sincerely. Ok now, I'm room temperature.
By the time we get to school we are already in a deep conversation about dogs. "Well it was nice talking to ya, Sky!" Oh no! I never wanted that conversation to end! "Y-yeah, it was nice talking!" Ugh I wish this was just like the rest of the day.
Ooo a science project on the third day? I hope I'm assigned with Preston. Dang it! They said they would assign us tomorrow
Ok teacher time to talk. "Alright children, we're gonna get assigned seats today" This could either go wonderful or very badly. "Vikram you sit here" Oh no it's almost my turn! "Skylar you sit next to Lauklan" At lest I don't sit next to Elizabeth "Elizabeth you sit next to Preston" Oh no! When I look over at Preston, he looks disappointed. When he saw me looking at him, he immediately changed his expression to a smile and glanced at me.
Strange. Strange, indeed.
