Being Ignored

You and Jack have been dating for 4 years. Everything was going amazing. Well you thought so, for the past week Jack has been distant with you, he can't be in the same room as you for more than five minutes with him starting to stutter or get nervous before he runs away. Today is your 4 year anniversary and Jack hasn't said a word to you. You are starting to get annoyed about this but slightly more worried, you and Jack have never had a big fight or problem as you two are very good about sharing your feeling with each other. You decide to go downstairs to find Jack but hes not their, you walk into the kitchen to see Andy on his phone. "Hey, And" I said and sat next to him. "Hey" he looked at me and smiled. "Umm, have you see Jack?" I asked and looked down. "I think he went out, is everything okay?" He put his hand on my shoulder which made me look at him. "I dont know Andy, he cant be in the same room as me for more than five minutes" I said staring to cry. "Hey, it's okay. I'm sure there is a perfectly good reason for this" he hugged me and rubbed my back as i cried into his chest. "I'm not sure And, today is our anniversary and he hasn't said a word to me" I look up at him and he had a slight smile. "I'm sure he will make it up to you, dont worry" he said smiling more. "Thanks" I answered and walked up to our room.

I laid on our bed just thinking about everything when my phone went off.

Hey baby, there is a white bag under the bed, look what's inside and meet me at the lake in an hour. Love you xx

What? I looked under the bed and pulled out the bag. I opened it and pulled out a beautiful white flowery skater dress. I ran to the bathroom and changed into the dress and stood infornt of the mirror. I love it!! I giggle and grabbed some white ballet pumps to go with it. I looked at the time to see I have 45 minute until i have to leave so i touch up my make up and curled my hair. Skipped down the stairs and shouted to the rest of the boys to say I'm leaving but there was no answer. I shrugged it of and left the house.

I walk down to the lake and see twinkling lights coming for the old oak tree where me and Jack always sit. "Jack?" I called out looking around. I walk up to the tree and see fairy lights hanging from the tree and candles lit and scattered around the field. I stood there taking it all in I was broke from my thought when I heard Jack, "megan" I turn to see Jack in a suit, hands in his pockets looking at me, "wow" was all he said. I look down knowing I'm blushing. "Megan, I'm umm I'm sorry" he looked down and took my hands. "I know I've been really distant lately but I was, no am really nervous" he looked at me and could hear the nerves in his voice. "Babe, what's going on?" I ask making him look me in the eyes. "Megan, my love, my life, my everything. I love you so much, you make my life so much happier and entertaining, I couldn't imagen my life without you" he knelt down and pulled out a beautiful ring, my eyes filled with water and a smile plasted on my face "Megan Hollister, will you make me the happiest person in the world and marry me?" My smile grew 10x and now I'm crying "yes... YES" he stood up placed the ring on my finger and swung me around. "I love you" I whispered in my ear placing me down. "I love you too" I smiled and he kissed me.
