Kayleigh's P.O.V.
Today is the first time mine and my boyfriends parents are going to meet each other and I'm kind of freaking out. Brooklyn (my boyfriend) has planned for us to all go to the local carnival for the day. I'm currently sitting in my bedroom thinking of all ways today could go wrong. I feel my eyes start to feel with water and before I knew it I was sobbing on my bedroom floor. "Kayyy" Brooklyn called through the house. I didn't reply, just sobbed more. "Babe?" He shouts again. I dont move or make a sound.
Brooklyn's P.O.V.
I ran through Kayleigh's house trying to fine her. I was so excited for today, our parents are finally meeting and I cant wait!! "Kayyy?" I shouted. No response. "Babe!?" I walked upnto her room and heard quiet sobs. I opened the door and saw her curled up in a ball against the wall crying. "Baby, what's wrong?" I ran to her and hugged her so tight. She didn't say anything just cried into my chest. "Shh, shh. It's okay. Talk to me kay, what happened?" I whispered. "T..to..today, it's t.. to much for m..me" she sobbed. "You was so excited yesterday, what went wrong?" I asked and she sat up looking at the ground. "I'm just scared that they wont like each other, you know how my dad can be and I dont want to lose you" she started crying again. "Babe, look at me" I lifted her chin so she was looking in my eyes. "Stop, thinking the worst. They are going to love each other and love us together. Today is going to go amazing and we are all going to have fun and be happy, okay?" I said softly to her. She nodded her head and looked down again. "Wheres that famous Kayleigh smile I love?" I asked with a grin on my face. She giggled and looked up at me and gave a small smile. "You can do better than that" her smile grew and she hugged me. "Thank you brooky, I love you" she said. "I love you too baby" I answered and kissed her softly.
Kayleigh's P.O.V.
I'm so greatful for Brooklyn, hes the best boyfriend I could ever wish for. And like always he was right. Our parents clicked instantly and had a great time together. Me and Brooklyn took lots of cute photos and had a blast. I dont know what I was worried about, all I know is if Brooklyn was there to help me today could have gone very different.
