In the middle of broken glass and debris, there was a letter.
A letter.
"What? Who broke our window to give is a piece of paper?", Jongho said in a fast and high pitched voice.
"I don't know...", Hong Joong said in a thinking manner.
I carefully picked up the piece of paper.
I opened and it read:
" Esteemed Ateez,
You are cordially invited to the 45th Annual Twilight Ball. It will be at xxx on the 27 of May at 7:45 p.m. Remember to only bring your main gang members and that this is a cease-fire event. We hope to see you all there.

"Wow. I can't believe this year's Twilight Ball was organized by Got7", Yunho said in disbelief.
"I know right. They're lucky we're allies or they would have something bad coming their way", Seonghwa said quite annoyed that his precious steak was getting colder with each passing second that they were in the living room.
"How many gangs do you have as allies?"
"We have Stray Kids and Got7 of course, then we also have BTS, all NCT units, EXO, and Monsta X", San explained.
"Those are a lot of allies. How did you guys manage that?"
"Those gangs, including us, are quite peaceful, as much as you can be in this business of course. Since we are all peaceful and have mercy we all became allies without the need for a cease-fire event, like The Twilight Ball", Mingi explained further.
"Oh. Interesting."
"Yep", Seonghwa said popping the p, "let's go eat now."
We left the living room a mess and went back to the kitchen and ate happily.
A couple of minutes after we finished eating we all went to the training room.
As I entered the black and red gym padded with mats, adrenaline rushed through my veins. It's true that I never liked my father's training but a part of me was grateful that I had been trained. I remember hating every second of my father's cruel exercises but it had been such a big part of my life that I missed it in a way as I felt a wave of nostalgia wash over me.
I sparred with Jonho and I ended up with a couple of bruises here and there, but I came out victorious.
After a couple of hours later we showered and ate a late lunch.
While I was eating I realized that I hadn't gone out of the house for about a week. I didn't mind being here with the boys but I still wanted to go out and do something. Yeosang noticed that I was feeling a little down so he engaged in a conversation with me.
"What's wrong?"
"Oh. Nothing. I was just thinking of how I haven't been out of the house for a while."
"Do you want me to take you somewhere tomorrow?"
"Yes. Id love that."
He smiled at me warmly as I did the same before I went back to eating my food.
"Oh. I almost forgot. Make sure to go to sleep early tonight so I can pick you up at dawn for a surprise."
"Ok."
For the rest of the day, I kept smiling excitedly thinking of the following day.
I wonder what's to come.
