Billies P.O.V

I was back home and currently filling up the metal bath tub in the bathroom in front of the fire after not feeling too great.

A few minutes after getting in the bath,Polly knocked on the door.Her and Micheal arrived back to the house about an hour after the rest of us and Micheal was currently sleeping in Pol's room.
She came in and sat on a stool next to the bath and i moved to sit up to face her.

She placed her hand to my forehead asking "how are you feeling?" then pulling her hand away.

"i'm not sure-think i'm getting the flu or something"I replied sniffing.

"well it is going around at the moment"she responded.I nodded and grinned at her before bringing my legs up to my chest.

"so billie. its your birthday in a few weeks,what do you want to do?"she asked me. i had completely forgot about it;its already October!

"oh yeah! i'll be 18 Pol!" - " i know Bill...you're growing up!Micheal will be 18 not long after!" she replied,already showing her son off at every chance given.

she continued.. "how about the garrison?get a load of friends and family to come along,a little party?"

"ummm..maybe not Pol. Don't really fancy that this year."
"oh,okay"she said,a little confused as i normally would have jumped at the idea.
"i might just go out with Kate and Isiah if that's ok?i don't really want a big fuss this year?"i asked her-maybe i was growing up? no longer caring for my birthday;which is very unlike me.

"yeah of course,just let tommy know as i'm sure he'll have something to say about it."she smiled at me,and stood up ready to leave me be in the bath.Just as she put the stool back the door opened and Micheal was about to walk in but quickly turned around shutting the door;Polly began laughing- "it's not funny Pol!"i shouted at her-luckily my back had been to the door.

"fuck sorry!didn't know you were in there!"he called out to us;clearly embarrassed.

"IDIOT!!"i shouted back to him after hearing him walk away from the door.

I stood up from the bath, having enough, and Polly passed me a towel which I quickly wrapped around myself.However as i stepped out the bath i momentarily lost my balance and Polly had to steady me.
"sorry Pol,lost my balance there."
"Billie go to bed and get some rest"she said looking at me worryingly.

i nodded and made my way to my room,to get sleep before work at the pub tomorrow.

i woke the next morning with a headache and decided i should probably eat something,and made my way downstairs where i met polly and micheal sat at the table.

i walked into the kitchen and sat at the table joining them and stared directly at micheal,who in response shifted his gaze away from mine. So I cleared my throat to get his attention.-"morning Micheal" I said with a annoyed tone.
Polly elbowed him and nodded towards me.
"Sorry about yesterday Bill"he admitted.
"Mhmm"I responded still staring at him.
" well to make it up you can make me breakfast" I said smirking to him. He looked to Polly ,who laughed and stood up from the table placing her hand to his shoulder as she walked over to the stove and cracked an egg for my breakfast.
He scoffed in response and shook his head at me.
I grabbed the newspaper he was reading from his hands and I lifted my legs up and placed them both on his lap,and opened the paper to read it myself.
Polly turned around to see what I had done and saw Micheal just staring at me. "She's a handful ay Micheal?" she said to him chuckling.
"Mhmm"he mimicked me from earlier.
I slammed the paper to the table and put my legs to the floor and leaned in to Michaels face with a serous expression held on mine,he looked a bit startled.
I put a smile on my face and quickly raised my hand to his hair once again and messed it up,getting up from my chair laughing, after he hit my hand away and he too laughed picking the newspaper back up.
"You two are going to be even more of a handful together" Polly noted.
