I had been enjoying a nice morning with Zelda when she just...fainted. At first I thought maybe because of my breath or something else. But she appeared to be having a nightmare of some sort. I laid her down. She kicked me in the gut, and I gasped. It hurt a lot.
She was crying. I did the only thing I could think of. I wiped the tears off of her face. Her eyes opened at one point, but didn't register anything. It really creeped me out. But then she closed them again.
She muttered random words. like "help......no.....they....coming...Link?......Ordon?.....GANONDORF."
I stared at her face. She started crying again and kicked me. My stomach ached with pain once again. I gulped. I did my best to ignore the pain. I pulled her head, gently onto my lap so that her legs would be as far away as they could be from me.
I wiped the tears off of her face. Her eyes fluttered open. Her light voice called "Link". I blushed. But then she had a strangled expression on her face. I looked up to the sky to see the problem but nothing was there.
It was in her head.
