Link had slayed the malicious man, Ganondorf. Everything was almost back to normal except Links house had been destroyed and other things obviously.

The nightmares though. They stung like a whip, or a knife. There were always ones where Link had died, or I had killed him when being possessed. Monsters were in all of my dreams. Even the occasional good one.

I had invited Link to live in the castle. Also my father wasn't actually dead he had just tripped and was unconscious for awhile. It's not really his fault though, he's-he's a bigger man. He takes a fancy to food. Most kings do though.

Life has been...different. link is paranoid all of the time. Even around normal people. Guys usually. I have my suspicions, but I don't like to think people actually like me because of I always get disappointed in the end. I can't afford to lose Link to a relationship problem or something else. I rely on him too much.

Link broke me out of my trance. "princess, are you ok?" he asked. I realized he was smirking. "Yes, thank you, Hero" I played along emphasizing the word hero. He looked at me. "Call me Link." he said with an eyebrow risen. I rolled my eyes. "I know your name, but in that case call me Zelda." I told him. Then it was his turn to roll his eyes. "whatever, lets go inside." he said, laughing.

And then he took my hand in his and playfully skipped to the castle. "hey! that's my home." I said. He stuck out his tongue and stopped skipping. Now we were just walking. I snook a peek at him. He was looking at me. He noticed and blushed, looking down. I silently laughed at him, while also secretly blushing.
