There was a pair of gleaming eyes outside. They blinked at me and then disappeared.
"Did-did anyone else see that?" I asked. Impa looked around shivering.
"Let's just get to the castle as quick as we possibly can," Impa whispered. Link scanned the area anyways, with his bright eyes. We ran the rest of the way to the castle, not even once glancing behind in fear of what may be there.
A guard stood stationary at the gates, "Z-Zelda? What are you doing here? And who is this....peasant?" I gave him a look of anguish, how dare he call Link a peasant.
"Just let us in the palace," I ordered through clenched teeth. He nodded solemnly rapping his hand against the gigantic door. It slowly and painfully creaked open and the guard side stepped out of the way.
"Thanks," I spat at him as we strode into the palace. The King was right at the door.
"And who may this young gentleman be? Certainly not a prince dear Zelda..." the King said looking Link up and down. My eyes widened in outrage and horror.
"D-dad? Y-you wouldn't murder someone for spending time with me would you? This is L-link, he saved me...more than once," I stated furling up my palms. He had a glint in his eyes as he slowly averted his gaze from Link to me.
"Darling Zelda, don't you see, peasants aren't allowed to mingle with a princess..." the King said...
