THREE

We're in front of the ministers door. I'm actually nervous of what will be the things they're going to tell me. My hands we're trembling as I hold the knob.

"Its okay,  sweety." comforting words from my mother.

"All you have to do is to sit and listen" father says.

pinihit ko ang pinto at bumungad sa akin ang mga ministers. nakaupo sa circular table. may apat na vacant seat at may isang upuan sa gitna ng circular table.

"Ceres Luis Mcsarrow, at the center please." isang mid 40's na babae. iginiya niya ako sa gitna kung saan ako uupo.

"Salamat" I said. she smiled

nakaupo na ako at ang mga magulang ko ng bigla uli bumukas ang pinto. 2 men entering the door. My grandfather and the rude man. agad naman silang umupo sa natitirang bakanteng upuan.

"We are now to start the preliminary meeting" isang minister ang tumayo

"To discuss about the arrival of Ceres Luis Mcsarrow." pagpapatuloy nito.

"8 and half year ago, The young lady was took by her own grandmother and parents and brought to the human world and there was a  agreement. that agreement must be done or else there will be a punishment" dagdag niya

so this is the place where I lived when I was probably 9 or 10 yrs old.

the word 'punishment' give me goosebumps

"The moment she arrived here is already a statement that the agreement has been done" isang babaeng minister naman ang tumayo at nagsalita

"but there's a commotion before her arrival therefore the demoño have found out about her." pagpapatuloy niya

demoños? demons? found out?

"I'm sorry for interrupting but why would the demoño deal with me? I'm just a normal teenager." I said. Yes I'm still convincing my self that Im a normal teenager.

normal naman talaga ako kung hindi lang sana sila dumating. well I think its a lose and win situation.

I failed to keep my normal life but I've found my grandpa.

"Unfortunately you're not a normal teenager. You're a pure goddess."

ako? dyosa? Really? I know right.
I have a physical beauty of a goddess.

"I bet you saw how your parents changed? you saw everything and that's enough to explain that you're a goddess." sagot niya sa akin.

agad naman nag flashback sa utak ko ang nangyaring pagpapalit anyo ng parents ko.

mayroong unti unti lumabas sa kanilang likoran. Feather and another feather and it keeps growing until it turns to a wings.  A wings of an angel. NO. A wings of god and goddess

"Minister Pia and Minister Leo, maybe we should talk about the demoño" grandpa said.

"may tradisyon ang mga demoño. every 100 yrs. Ang batang masisilang sa taong iyon na purong may dugong dyos at dyosa ay kanilang hahanapin at kukunin sa tamang edad nito at iaalay sa kanilang Hari." Minister Leo said. nakita kong nagkatinginan si mom and dad.

sa dinami daming pwedeng ipanganak sa taon at araw na iyon ay ako pa talaga. What a luck Ceres.

"ikaw, Ceres. ang natatanging bata na ipinanganak, Ikaw lang at wala ng iba. itinakas ka noon ng iyong lola at magulang sa pagaakalang mas maliligtas ka sa mundo ng mga tao. the council and your grandma had an agreement. ito ay ang ibalik ka sa HEBAYN kapag nasa tamang gulang kana dahil kung hindi mapipilitan kaming kunin ang kanilang mga abilidad if a goddess losses its ability aslo means the end of their life." Minister Pia

napatayo ako sa aking kinauupuan. Pano nila nasasabi ang lahat ng yan sa harap ko. wala namang ibang ginawa ang lola ko kundi ang protectahan ako.

"I dont have any ability therefore Im normal." sabi ko habang kuyom ng kamao ko.

"Oh! looks like we have late bloomer goddess here"  the rude man said.

I give him death glare. he smirk

"hindi puputok ang baril kung walang gatilo at bala" lolo said

wait! are we playing some riddles here?

"that means You, Yourself is a gun, your mind and soul as your bullet and the triggers will be your emotions and the challenges." the rude man said in very boring tone.

"get yourself ready for tomorrow's ability identification, Let's go Landro." sabi ni lolo at umalis kasama si Rude man. Landro.

"That's all for today. Ipapatawag nalang kayo kapag may meeting ulit." Minister Pia said at lumabas na din. kasunod niya ang iba pang mga minister.

" Is everything clear to you, Ceres?" Dad asked.

umiling ako. may nakuha akong sagot sa aking mga katanungan ngunit hindi pa ito sapat, may kung ano sa akin na naghahanap pa ng maraming impormasyon. I need to know more.

"Don't worry, after the ability identification maguusap tayo, tayong magpamilya lang, okay?" sabi ni mom na bahagyang nakangiti. matapos ang paguusap namin ay lumabas na sila sa silid na ito. ako nalang ang naiwan.

"Mali!Mali! everything messed up. dont believe them"

the voice! it's a man's voice,  I can hear it again. luminga linga ako para tingnan kung may tao ba pero nabigo ako. tinakpan ko ang mga tenga ko at naglakad paalis sa silid na ito.

"Liar! Dont believe them, Ceres, Dont."

Sa pagkakataong ito ay tumakbo na ako. Natatakot ako. natatakot akong harapin ang panibagong bukas dahil baka marinig ko na naman ang boses na iyon. ngunit napa hinto ako sa huling sinabi nito.

"Don't worry as long as you can hear me, I'll assure you, you're safe. I will always guide you my Luis."
