Prussia x reader - lost and forgotten

Chapter 10

The kiss felt so right yet wrong at the same time. I really like Sam don't get me wrong, but something felt wrong. I felt like I was still with Gilbert even though I had told him I didn't want to see him. I still felt something, like we still had something. I still cared for Gilbert even though what he did was very wrong. That's when I let myself go.

I woke up in Sams bed, rubbing my eyes. He wasn't here because he had work, but there was a note. It said he went to work and there is coffee in the kitchen. He left his number so when I wake up to call him. I got my clothes on that I ' had ' worn last night on. I got up and found my phone. I dialed his number and he answered quickly. " Goodmorning beautiful. " He said, " morning " I replied. This reminded me to much of Gilbert. " Well you stayed the night and Alex is there. His babysitter actually just quit. So he had no one. " A smile planted on my lips. " Sam don't worry about Alex, okay? I got all of this under control. " I didn't want to stress him out, how hard could it be to take care of Alex? He was 8 years old. " Thank you so much ( Y/n ) you don't know how much this means to me. " I nodded. " No problemo . " He interrupts a little. " Hey- my boss is calling me- I'll see you later? " He asks. " Yup! Have a nice day at work, Sam. " he ads quickly. " I miss you, I can't wait to see you. Bye! " He hangs up and I hear Alex crying.

I run to his room and see him crying. " Alex?? What's wrong sweetie? " I see blood running off his leg. " I-I cut my leg on my desk.. " I frown. " I'm sorry. We better fix this, huh? " He nods and rubs his eyes. I carry him to the bathroom and set him on the counter. I look through the cabinets and find bandiads. " Ouch! " He says as I sanitize his knee. " Hold on sweetheart. I'm almost done. " I finish and bandage his knee. " There! Your all better! " I smile and so does he. " wanna do something fun? " He nods and smiles widely. " Why don't we go to the bakery and make cupcakes- or anything Alex wants! " He nods. it makes me happy to see how happy he is.

We walk to the bakery and as soon as we get there he jumps around. I keep the ' closed ' sign up so we can have the day together. I give him a small apron, the one I used to wear with my father. " Hmm! " I playfully put my hands on my hips. " What do you want to make? I'm thinking cupcakes! What about you? " He nods. " Ya! Let's do it! " We put the things together and wait to eat them. " ( Y/n )? " I look at him, he's on the counter. " Yes? " I reply. " Do you love my daddy? " I nod. " I love him very much Alex. " I sort of lied. I didn't know if I loved him.

After playing and eating sweets, my phone rang. " Hey! " I said, knowing it was Sam. Instead it was Gilbert. " Hallo. " he replied. " What do you want Gilbert. " I replied, walking away from Alex. " I want you back.. I miss you. These weeks have been terrible without you. " I sighed and paced back and forward. " Gilbert. What do you not understand about me not wanting to see you. I don't want to speak or see you. " I say. " But ( Y/n ) " I shake my head. " Goodbye. " I hang up and right after I got a call from Sam. " Hi baby " he said. " Hey. " I say. " How's Alex doing? " He asks. " He's doing well. We are at my bakery. " I lean against the coutnter. " I'm on my way home. Do you want me to come pick you up? " I smile over his words. " That would be nice. " He replied, " alright. I'll be there really soon. I'm around the corner. " I hang up and start to clean up which would take awhile to clean.

He got here quickly. He got out of the car and looked around. it was sill messy. " Hey buddy! " He smiled and ruffled Alex's hair. He stood up and adjusted his tie. " Hey ( Y/n ) " he gave me a hug and pecked my lips. " I kissed youuu " I held onto the hug. " I missed you to " he kissed my nose and helped me clean.

It was no longer than thirty minuets of cleaning when we left. We got in the car and I looked over at him. " You know, I should get home. " I say. " Alright " he says, heading towards my house. We get there and he walks me to my door. " Thanks for everything. " He says. " No problem. " I hug him and he kisses me. " I'll see you tomorrow night? " he asks, I nod.

Me and Sam have been seeing each other for 3 months. He was really sweet and caring. Almost like Gilbert. It killed me whenever I thought about how similar they were.

I was at home today and I wanted to do something. I decided to go for a walk. It was rainy like most days. I had a light jacket on and jeans. I let the wind smack me in the face as I opened the door. I walk at a steady pace. It felt nice out here. I sat at a bench and leaned back. " ( y/n )? I heard someone say, it sounded fimiliar. I looked up and saw Gilbert. " G-Gilbert.. " I say out of words. " I miss you. " He says, hugging me. " Gilbert- what are you doing? " I push him off. " what? " I roll my eyes and start to walk off. " I'm sorry.. " He says, his voice cracking. I stop and look down. " Gilbert I'm over you already.. " I was lying, I wasn't. I missed him so much still but Sam was a good guy. " please- I'm miserable without you.. I can't sleep- I can't even look at myself.. " It sounds like he's crying. i stay quiet and let him do the talking for once. " I promise if we get back together- I will- try to be my best. I won't cheat again.. " I shake my head. " How do you know that you won't do it again? " I almost start crying but I have to stay strong. " Because ( y/n ) I have changed. " I look at him and wipe his tears with my sleeve. " Gilbert. I don't want to be mean but I don't think I can't trust you again. I bet she's better than me anyway. " I give him a small smile. it felt nice touching his face again. i want him back but i can't trust him. I want to feel his touch again, his lips on mine. The smell of beer he always had. " I wasn't really with her.. " He says as my back was facing him, a lump formed In my throat. Don't tell me I left him for nothing. " How am I supposed to know that? " I ask. " She was an old friend of mine. She brought me food sometimes when I was homeless.. " I sigh and turn around. " look at me and tell me you didn't sleep with her while you were with me. " He looks at me for a second and looks down without saying a word. " I knew it.. " I whisper. " ( y/n ), please it was an accident. I didn't mean it.. Everyone makes mistakes " I shake my head. " I know people make mistakes but this was a choice. you didn't have to sleep with her. " I try not to cry again. " I want you back " he won't stop, will he? " You know, I really thought we were gonna be together forever. " I chuckle. " but I guess I was so stupid and so deep in love I wasn't even thinking of that. Gilbert I need to go, someone's waiting for me. if you really want me back prove that you can chanhe, that you actually did. and maybe I will think about it. " that's it. is turn around and walk away.

I go to Sams house and as soon as he opens the door I fall in his arms and cry. I feel him rub my back and hush me. He knew it wasn't the right time to ask what's wrong. Alex had a babysitter now so it was just me and him, he portably just got home. after I almost stopped crying and made that gross noise you make when you have stopped hysterically crying I wipe my eyes. " what happened dear? " he asked me. " I need to tell you something.. " I say, my face red. He nods and continues to rub my back. " take your time " he says soothingly. I told him about Gilbert and i, and honestly it went well. Sam was sweet about it and said, " well, it seems like you still love him. " he said, stroking my hair as he made eye contact. " If you still love him, go get him. " he gave me a small smile. " but I'm confused and- " I go and on. " I know how it is to love someone who doesn't love you. " he said. I knew he was talking about his wife. I look down." I don't know if I want him back.. " I sigh, there are so many choices. Either stay with Sam or go to gilbert.
