Hak bit his lip before he could say anything, you can call him a coward but he ain't gonna put the jeopardy of his crush in danger, he's a general. He's always in danger to protect the kingdom.

"I l-promise to always protect you and yona", hak sighed, defeated. Itsuki masked a smile to hide his surprise. "I appreciate the thought hak, but what do you think I've been doing this whole time in my room", hak lifted his head at the statement Itsuki claimed.

Itsuki, calming his heart, took Hak's hand off his own, he genuinely smiled, looked up at hak and said with the most certainty, "I'm sure we'll all survive with your help though". Hak hadn't caught on the deeper meaning behind his words.

Itsuki went back to his room, something landed on his shoulder, nuzzling into his neck, wanting attention. 'Where did you go master?', 'Ah, nowhere special'. Ruffling his feathers, Itsuki packed the rest of his medicine.

Hearing a sudden downpour, Itsuki hurried on, putting on a pair of pure black shoes, fidgeting and fumbling with a hand knife. Stuffing it into his pocket, he immediately recognized unfamiliar shadows stand behind his door illuminating his room.

Smirking as if he turned into a different person his pupils narrowed and went into action.

Yona POV

Screaming out soo-won's name, I wanted it all to be a dream, or rather a nightmare. Hearing bodies fall I looked up at hak who sliced down all the people who tried to kill me.

He glared heatedly at...soo-won?. So it wasn't a dream.... why. Why did this have to happen to me?... why did soo-won kill father?.

I felt someone pull on my hand forcefully, stumbling to my feet, I looked up and saw brother breathing heavily. Biting my lip to stop my crying, looking back I saw hak hold back the guards before running in our direction. I felt relieved that I still had Brother and hak by my side.

Still feeling adrenaline flow through my legs I haven't noticed we stopped running. My legs buckled beneath me, but two pairs of arms went under my arm and lifted me up. Looking to my right I saw brother, with a sad smile, to my left hak all bloody. That was the last thing I remember before everything turned black.

3rd POV

Laying down yona against a tree, itsuki did the same and sat to her left. Hak sat to his left, weapon still in hand, not trusting the dark forest to hide them.

Seeing slight blood seep out beneath his shirt, hak ripped a piece of his cloth, wrapping it around Itsuki's stomach, Itsuki just watched with gentle eyes, 'He's so kind'.

'Master!?What happened?!!!', 'N-', 'Don't you dare say nothing, tell me who did this to you so I can obliterate them!'. Tired of hearing his annoying voice Itsuki shushed him by offering a fruit.

Hak next to him, watched the absurd scene, the most kindest and self-less prince feeding a crow with red eyes. Hak leaned his head against Itsuki's shoulder, seeing the tip of his ears turn red hak smirked in accomplishment before closing his eyes.

'Hm? So you like this boy, no wonder you've been out of it, he's quite a looker, yes he is!', Itsuki feeling his mind turn into mush, couldn't pay attention to any of his surroundings. Hak breathed in and out, asleep, it was so cute Itsuki didn't know what to do, not doing something over the top like sneaking a kiss against the lips.

Itsuki just simply moved the bangs out his forehead, and kissed it. Looking down with loving eyes he looked back at yona to his right yona who had snuggled up to him unconsciously.

'Goodnight future warriors', the crow just watched as Itsuki slipped out of consciousness, Shaking his head left and right crow thought, 'He's really changed ever since being brought here in this world'.
