Will You Let Me Go?

"IM BAAAAAAACK!! DAAAAAD!! MOOOOOM!!" I shouted as I opened the gate.

My parents hugged me tight and took me inside the house. 

"Mom, I think I need to move to Korea." I said with a serious tone.

My dad managed to mumble the word "Why?"

I knew he was upset.

I am the youngest in the family so it will be a normal reaction for them to be sad.

"I need to train and continue my studies there. I was given only four days to pack my stuff and leave. My manager is currently staying in a hotel nearby." I explained.

My mom only let out a few sighs.

The room was quiet until my dad said "I will discuss this matter with your mother. Get some rest sweetie."

I went in my room and tears started swelling up. I cannot stand the fact that I will be separated from my family for a long time. But this is the only oppurtunity I have to achieve my dreams. What will I do?

"Lord, please let me be wise about this. I have always wanted and interesting life.. full of discoveries, full of adventures, and full of happiness. If this is really for me, please help me achieve my dream." I prayed.

The next morning, I went down to eat breakfast even though my dad hasn't knocked on my door yet.

My dad called my mom and we all sat in the living room.

"Sweetie, me and your mom has decided to.." he stopped as tears form in his eyes.

"We have decided to let you go." my mom finished my dad's statement. 

"Really?!" I said with my mouth open.

They both started giggling at first then ended up laughing hysterically.

"We are so proud of you, honey! You did your best and here is your prize! Never let this chance slip away from your grasp! YOU CAN DO THIS!!" My mom said energetically.

I stood up and gave them a hug in return.

"Thank you Mom and Dad! I love you!"

Their hug became tighter and both of them said "We love you too, honey."
