Trick or Treat

"Are you done already?" Mark and Jackson kept knocking on the door of our room.

"Gimme 5 more minutes!" I responded while applying some more mascara.

"You said that 30 minutes ago!" Jackson complained.

"Done!" I shouted back and opened the door.

"I dont understand why you shou-" Jackson was in the middle of ranting about how long I took to prepare myself for the trick or treat event.

But suddenly, he stopped after looking at me.

"Trick or treat?" I smiled at him while blushing.

"You look great." Mark just stared at me.

"But dont you think this is too.. Girly? I would rather go out in jeans.." I looked at myself in the mirror and I kinda look..

Should I say..

Feminine?

No.

This is SO not me.

"Here's a treat for a pretty fairy~" JB forcibly put a lollipop in my mouth.

"Kamsahamnida~" I mocked his tone playfully.

"Yah we'll be late!" Bambam shouted from outside.

He's been playing a video game with Youngjae since this morning.

"Yes sir." I took my pumpkin basket and went out.

"The devil finally looks like a fairy! This is a miracle!" Yugyeom acted with exaggerated expressions when he saw me.

Bambam just stared at me though.

Ugh I hate this thing.

"I hate this thing. It makes me feel like.. A girl. I really want to be Captain Americaaaa!!" I continued ranting when Bambam stood up.

"Pretty."

That's all he said before leaving us.

(( AT THE VENUE ))

"TWINS!! YOU LOOK SO ADORABLE~" I pinched Kwangmin and Youngmin's cheeks.

"We're ALWAYS adorable. You're the only one who hasn't noticed." Youngmin mumbled.

"Well well well. You look pretty today." Minwoo did a circle around me.

"Sprinkle some of your fairy dust on all of us to start the parteeeeeh~" Yugyeom shouted and I did what I was told to do.

The trick or treat event went by so fast cause it was so fun.

"Let's rest for abit. Please." Minwoo looked tired and sat on a nearby bench.

I sat beside him and Youngmin sat beside me.

"This is so fun." Bambam started the conversation.

"Let's do this every year. That's an order." Youngmin said.

"Lets dress up as minions next year." Mark suggested again.

"Ke ke ke. Im looking forward seeing Yugyeom as a minion." I looked at Yugyeom with a smile.

"I'll be adorable ofcourse!" He did a hair flip.

"Omo dont try to be TOO fabulous." Kwangmin teased back.

"Aish I hate you." The both of them started a fight in their own world.

"We should buy you more girly stuff. It suits you." Youngmin said out of the blue.

"Umm.. Thanks? I'll buy you more onesies cause you look adorable wearing one." I said while pinching his cheeks again.

(( BACK AT THE DORM ))

"Kids! Let's watch a horror movie!" JB called all of us the moment we got home.

Otteoke..

I didnt tell them about my issue towards horror films..

"You scared?" Jr poked my arm.

"No hahaha. Why?" I looked at him nervously.

"You're kinda pale." He felt my forehead and neck to check if I have a fever.

"Im just tired, that's all." I offered him a smile and he seems to buy the fact that Im pretending to be brave.

- MOVIE STARTS -

As usual, I took some blankets and pillows out to cover my eyes.

This is the part when the girl SLOWLY opens the creepy door..

WHY DO YOU FRIGGIN HAVE TO OPEN THE DOOR?!

I felt someone go under my blanket which caused me to scream.

"Yah dont shout! I just want a blanket too." Bambam defended.

So yes.

We are sharing a blanket.

With a tiny space between us.

"You scared?" He asked me.

"Not at all." I gave him a fake smile.

"Liar. You blinked." Bambam went a few inches closer.

"Can I.. Hold your hand?" He didnt look at me. Bambam just continued looking at the tv but I can see him blushing.

"Umm.. Sure I guess." My heartbeat kept on beating faster every second.

"You're hands are small. Perfect for mine." He whispered.

I dont know how to respond so I just kept silent.

But honestly..

The fear that I felt while watching the movie vanished.

(( AFTER THE MOVIE ))

I.

CANNOT.

FRIGGIN.

SLEEP.

Stupid doll. I kept on imagining its horrifying face in my mind. I continued tossing and turning myself on the bed to find a comfortable position to sleep in. But, I seriously cannot sleep.

"Are you still up?" A voice from the other bed asked.

"Who's that?" I asked in reply.

"Mark." His deep voice echoed throughout the room.

"Ohh.. Is Jackson asleep?" Its kinda rare for Mark to talk to me with the lights off. Normally, he would just play with his phone until he goes to sleep.

"Yep. But are you alright? Do you fear horror movies?" I can hear him moving in his bed.

"Yeah.. That's the purpose of the directors, isn't it? To scare people to death." I replied with a hint of bitterness in my voice.

"Do you want me to sleep beside you?"

Wait..

What?

Did I hear him right?

"Umm.. I dont think that's necessary.." I answered back but he already pushed me to the side of the bed to have space for himself.

"Its opposite day today." He placed his head near mine.

"Thanks but.. Really.. I dont think you have to do this.. Its not as scary as the movie I watched with the EXO Oppas." I told him in defence but I couldnt stop my heart from beating so fast.

"Just sleep and dream of me."

And just like that.

Mark started snoring lightly.
