Yuily woke up the following day to find himself in a bed. The sun broke through the reflecting windows. The constant chirping of two happy birds could be heard sitting outside by the trees. Yuily blinked and realized he was somewhere else than the street. It was...a apartment? No, that wasn't it. Where was he?
Willard was the first to open the door and walk into the room. "I'm glad to see your awake." Greets Willard. "Willard...what happened? And where are we?" Asked Yuily as he sat up but instantly regretted it and a pain stroke him on his left side.
"Careful, you shouldn't get up right away. You were hit by a speeding car, for pete's sake!"
"Oh right. The chase..." Yuily recalls the pursuit from last night. They were after Agatha, she fled into a speeding car her servants were driving, and...then a car out of the blue, came rushing over and hit him. Yuily believes that perhaps, the driver who hit him, who chased after Agatha's vehicle...was a vampire as well.
"Yuilu...have you forgotten what I've told you?"
"Hm?" Yuily snaps out of his thoughts from last night and turns his attention over to the man before him. "We act as a pack-- we hunt together, we chase together, corner our prey together, and we act as one. We can't be abandoning the rest of the pack to act alone. That was reckless of you, and if you weren't careful, your mistake could have resulted the loss of your own life." Scowls Willard.
Yuily has known Willard ever since the man found him when he was still a child-- back when he ran away from his village that was massacred by vile vampires who also took away his brother's life who fought to protect him.
Since then, Yuily has been stuck with Willard and met the Jaegar's and the V Shipping Company. He has been like a father to Willard ever since. So of course, Willard would be scoulding Yuily like this because what he did scared his last night, and he knows that Willard would want nothing more than for what happened to never repeat.
"I'm sorry, Willard. It's just...I felt wild and unable to control myself at that moment. It's like...I couldn't control myself and had to keep pursuing." Yuily tried explaining. "No wolf ever acts without his pack." Willard points out as he crosses his arms together before sitting down on the edge of Yuily's bedside.
After a moment, Willard lets out a sigh before rubbing his nose temple. "Please...try to take control of both yourself and your actions." Another moment of silence came, and eventually Yuily decided a unanswered question he asked of earlier.
"So...where are we?"
"We are at Doctor Jackson's house. A doctor who was nice enough to treat you without a payment being charged. When you see him, you should thank him for what he's done. Not only did he give you treatment, but also shelter."
"I'll make sure to do that." Yuily smiles. For the rest of the day, Yuily was basically stuck in the room and Philip was stuck being a house maid for a day, serving Yuily his meal. Philip acted annoyed and irritated about it, but Yuily knew that deep down, Philip didn't mind it.
"Just...don't ever act so reckless again, right?"
Yuily hadn't realized how much he worried and scared his friends. Just as he did Willard, he apologized to Philip and everyone else as well. But the following day, as if out of magic, Yuily was able to walk around as if the car accident from the other day never even happened at all.
"SERIOUSLY?!! Your better?! That can't be right!" Philip was taken aback in disbelief and shock. But it shouldn't be so surprising. The doctor who had been sheltering the Jaeger's here is one of the finest in all of Paris. That, and Yuily always did seem to have the tendency to heal from a injury or wound rather quickly. Either that, or he just can't stand sitting around getting nothing done.
When Yuily was finally able to start moving around the following day, he made it his first task to go and give the doctor his gratitude. After that, he would be helping the Jaeger's out with anything they needed done. And once there was nothing more he could do for them, or for the doctor, he decided to take a nice walk about in the city.
Yuily walked down the streets and looked all around his, observing the people, the attractions, the stores, retails, fast food, and other. This was quite the beautiful place. Extraordinary to explore at your own leisure as well.
While distracted by all that surrounded him, Yuily found himself accidentally running into a girl. "I-I-I'm sorry!" She apologised anxiously. "No, it's quite alright. I'm the one who should be sorry." Says Yuily as he raises a hand, his way of gesturing that it was fine.
The girl wore a white T-shirt, a pink vest over it, a white skirt that went down to her knees, red shoes and a straw hat with an apple red ribbon wrapped around it. But upon meeting eyes, both their orbs widen in shock.
This girl who stood before Yuily...it was the same girl from last night. The one he encountered in that alleyway. The one who stammered out personal information about herself and her grandfather.
But...was all what she said true? Are there really vampires that are able to drink from humans without turning them into monsters? Or was it all lies she distracted him with so she could save her own skin by making him ponder over it all?
The girl gasped in fear before spinning away and making a run. "W-Wait!" Yuily stretched out a hand for the fleeing girl. But she continued to run, as though she didn't even hear him. Perhaps she could still be frightened of him? I mean...he did threaten her with his sphere last night. And he did, basically give away the fact that he was a vampire hunter. So no wonder she'd be terrified, knowing a serial vampire-killer was wondering around her home city.
Yuily scratched the back of his neck sheepishly while rubbing off the feeling he had. He kinda regrets scaring the girl the other day. I mean, if everything she said was true, then she shouldn't be a threat. But....even so, he can't let her get away.
He did swear to wipe out all the vampires, but...he may spare her for some time. But more so, more than killing her, he just wants his questions to be confirmed. So even if he's not after her in order to kill her, he wants to chase after for answers.
So again, there goes another vampire chase occuring in the city of Paris. Hmm...seeing how many vampires he has encountered here, is Paris a popular gathering place for vampires? Well...the city of Paris is well known for being the city of love. And vampires themselves are known to be very passionate.
