"Please! Stop! I just want to talk is all!!" Yells Yuily as he chases after the vampire girl. "S-Stop chasing me, you freak!" She screams as she runs faster and faster across the bustling street.
F-Freak...?
The word by which the girl called Yuily by, stook on him for a while and gave him a very unpleasant feeling. Calling someone a freak is so not nice. Especially when the person you call a freak actually isn't a freak. People have to stop jugging and getting the wrong ideas about every assumption they make!
But Yuily shrugged it off, and continued to chase. But as he did so, Willard's words from yesterday echoed in the back of his head...
"No wolf ever acts without his pack."
Would it be wise to chase after this girl? What if everything she has said to him was all but a lie? What if her intention is to lure him away? What if she leads him into a gang of vampires and he gets ambushed? If that happens, if he gets bitten, he will turn into a mindless monster who shows humans no mercy.
But...the look in her eyes at that time she told him all....they were earnest, honest, and truthful. And because of that, Yuily wants to believe that meant everything she spilled, especially about the possibility that there are certain vampires who are able to spare a humans sanity and life might end up true after all. He wants to know. No, he needs to know! He has to find out no matter the consequences! No matter the risk! Especially if this information might help the Jaegers in their goals!
"Please! I just want to talk!!"
The girl takes a turn into the backstreet, and this was Yuily's perfect chance to speak in private with this girl and to get answers without anyone's ears open on their discussion, and without anyone's eyes being glued onto them.
"Please....just stop!!"
Finally Yuily caught his prey. He corned her into the wall in the alleyway they ran across and slammed his hands against the wall. She had no way of escape, she was completely trapped. The girl squealed in a fright, her skin pale. Well....she's a vampire, so technically she's always pale. But...it just so seems that her skin became even paler than one could imagine or expect.
"P-Please...I-I...I (Huff) don't want to hurt...(Puff) you. I just need (Huff)....answers. (Puff)" Yuily breathed heavily, nearly out of too much breath to even talk. The girl stared with frightened eyes, but they eased up a little.
Yuily had no idea why. It had to been either because of his mention that he won't hurt her, or because he's revealing how exhausted he is to the point, the girl believes she may have a chance to flee or fight to her advantage.
"What you said....about you and your grandfather being different...is it true? Are you really able to drink from humans without taking away their sanity? Without them turning into monsters? Without drinking them dry? Are you...really able to spare them? And are you really able to erase their memories on certain events? And also--"
"Yes, yes. Everything I told you was the truth." The girl cuts him off. "But...how? How is that even possible?" Yuily continues to ask question after question. "I told you. Me and my grandfather....we are different from most vampires. We have different abilities and our fangs affect humans differently. And because of that, we aren't a threat to your kind. S-So...there's really no reason for you to k-kill us."
"Don't worry. I don't have any intention to kill you, or your grandfather for that matter. Just the bad vampires that pose a threat to human kind in this world." Yuily tries to reassure Yuily. But...does he really want to go through with this?
Yuily....he swore to wipe out each and every vampire existing on this planet. And this girl...she and her grandfather shouldn't be any acception. And yet....just now, using his own voice and pair of words, he supposedly decided to wipe out only the bad vampires instead of the good. But...has he truly decided this? And so quickly?
He really doesn't know if it would be for the best or not. But at least right now, at the moment being, as long as this vampire girl doesn't pose a threat, he wants to go through with this. That is, if good vampires indeed exist. And he wants to find out for himself. That maybe...just maybe....just like humans, there are good and bad.
"You...seem sincere. You seem truthful and honest. I can tell from the mere look in your eyes. But...despite that, I still need proof. Proof you truly are not a threat to us humans. Proof that you are truly different. Truth that you can spare humans by showing them mercy by not taking away their life and sanity."
"Ah...um, how do you wish for me to show you proof?"
"Drink my blood."
"E-Excuse me?!" The girl jolted in shock and confusion. But really, she knew what he meant. But she was just so surprised. No normal human would ever willingly wish for a vampire to drink from them. Nor request it of them. Any human like that would have to be....well, INSANE!!
"You heard me. Drink my blood. If by drinking my blood I don't go mad, then prove it to me. I need to know you really aren't a threat. And besides, you say you were completely honest by everything you stated yesterday. And if that's the case, you cannot survive without drinking blood. So for today, take mine."
"A-Are you...are you sure?"
"Yes!" Yuily's eyes gleamed a deep crimson blue that resembled shining diamonds and a waving sea. His eyes flared with a fire, determined to discover if he's actually found a new breed of a vampire. One that may be no harm to humans. His eyes were so sharp and keen, they resembled that of a wolfs.
The vampire girl stared into them without blinking or looking away. She felt those eyes may engulf her. But...she couldn't look away. Those eyes....she....has she seen them before? From...someone else perhaps? Could he be.....a Sirius?
The vampire girl snapped herself out of her thoughts and from looking into the boy's eyes far too long. No reason to make things awkward. But as much the girl wanted to ask Yuily questions of her own, she knew she hasn't completely earned the guy's trust as of yet. Because he needed proof. So she decided that after drinking from Yuily, that she would ask him thus.
