Jeon Jungkook's Residence
1:30pmJung Hoseok's Point of View
I gather up the courage to stand in front of Jungkook's front door with tons of swirled emotions circling throughout my body. I set aside the heart-shaped cloud for a little while as I perform a few breathing exercises to calm myself down before picking it up again. This whole inner dilemma makes me rethink of my existence. Am I still an angel? Do angels even sweat?
I finally bring myself to ring the doorbell with my free hand. With feet planted onto the ground, I patiently wait for Jungkook to open the door. A few minutes later, he opens it and gives me a gentle smile at me, "I'm sorry for making you wait."
"It's alright," I beam and nervously hand him the cloud, "For you."
He gently takes it with a smile, "How can I retain this in its current shape?"
I run my fingers through my hair, "I'm not sure, but isn't it pretty?"
With a tight-lipped smile, he nods and gives me a bit of room to let me in the house, "Come on in."
"Thank you," I say as I walk in. I then take a quick look around the humble abode that we both planned to share before. It's clean, homey, and not too small with minimal furniture lying around. Not many decorations were around as homes in heaven are not as materialistic as the houses in Earth.
"Nothing changed," I say as I clasp my hands behind my back, "It's still cozy."
"Yeah, well, we all need to keep our spaces clean, right?" He puts the item that I have handed him by the table, "But something did change, have you not noticed?" he asks with sudden sadness laced in his tone, "This was supposed to be our home, Hoseok."
My heart floods with sadness as I look at him with empathetic eyes, "And that is why I'm here, my love. I want to fix this."
"I know," he says and heaves in a big breath before he takes a few steps closer to me, "I have been wanting to talk to you about this as well."
"Then tell me all of your worries, I am here to listen," I hold his hand in mine, "Always," I squeeze it gently.
He stares at me quietly as he lets me to hold his hand. With a shaky breath, he softly tightens his grip on my hand, "Come with me then."
I follow him, still hand in hand, as we walked upstairs to his bedroom. Upon entering, I see a working orb within the room, and I walk towards it with curiosity as I let go of his hand to let him. The door clicks behind us, and I continue to stare at it, "Can you see what's in there?"
I disappointingly nod, "It's playing all of the shared moments that happened between Jimin and I."
I watch the memories flow by within the orb as I start to question about the item and Jungkook's actions before I started questioning my own self. Am I untrustworthy? Have I lacked so much time and love for him? These were some of the many questions that I have as this moment unfolds itself in front of me. However, one thing is for certain.
I lacked and I have hurt him, dearly.
I let out a sigh, "Where did you get this orb? When did you start looking after me through this?"
"I asked for the orb," he bows his head, "I couldn't help but worry for you every minute. You're too precious to me. I'm not used to being away from you this much."
He then proceeds to look at me with a frown etched onto his face, "Hoseok, I'm terribly sorry for stalking you around. I just could not really help it," he sighs out of frustration, "Also, can you see what's wrong within those moments?"
Jungkook sits me down on a chair and quietly waits for me to answer as I squint my eyes over the images that were quickly being displayed on the orb, "Was I too friendly?" I frown.
"No, Hoseok. It's just that I feel something from you within those shared times between the two of you," he walks towards the orb and pauses on one of the images before pointing at my eyes, "Is that not a display of interest?"
"I was just enjoying the moment that I was in, love," I explain, "He was trying to be funny."
He sighs, "Well, do you feel anything for the younger?"
"I only like him as a friend," I stand up from the chair and look at him with a gentle expression on my face, "Do you not believe me? I am an angel love; I will never ever lie to you."
"So please baby, let's make us work. I will do anything for you," I kneel on one knee as I pull out a red velvet box, "I am ready to open the next chapter of our after lives."
"Hoseok," he whispers, as his tears make a path down his cheeks, "You did not."
"Yes, I did, love," I smile at him and open the box, "Will you give me the happiest moment of my after life by saying yes and start our journey full of commitment, love, centering our after lives to the Higher being, and discovery?"
"Yes, Hoseok," He says, pulling me up from the floor, "Yes."
I embrace him as his arms tightly hug my waist, "I love you so much."
"I love you too Koo, so much."
