After tons of investigation, the Gwangju police force has finally finalized this case as a head-on collision. According to a witness, another car was in the scene— the vehicle accidentally hit the other causing both of it to spiral into different directions. Jung Hoseok's car hanging by the side of the mountain road while the unknown party had their car at least 5 inches away from a total loss. After ten minutes, the other car made its way out of the crime scene while the witness was trying to call the authorites and the boy's family.
As of now, the ones who got away are still being tracked down by the authorities, looking for security cameras around the area to at least get a glimpse of the car plate or the ones inside the vehicle.
