Adopted by Lightning McQueen (slow uPdates...reaaallly slow)

Stargazing.

Daniel stared at the sky once dinner was over, the stars glittering above him. Sally saw the reflection in his eyes and stared up too, placing her hand on his shoulder. Daniel leant into her side for a half hug which she gave gladly. It was a warm night, everyone seemed a little sleepy. Soon, people began to turn in. Mater leaving last because of his deep and amusing conversation with McQueen. The two sitting on the ground laughing.
"Hey mum?"
"Yes?" Daniel looked at her with large eyes that sparkles. "Please don't disappear."
   Sally frowned and crouched in front of him. Daniel continued to gaze into her eyes as she did the same to him.
"I'd never leave. Ever. I promise you," she pulled him into a warm embrace. "i love you." she pecked  him on the forehead and stood up again. Daniel smiled faintly before giving a big yawn. Sally, smiling at him, took his hand and began to lead him home.
"Okay boys, bedtime soon!" Sally called out behind her to McQueen and Mater as they walked.
"Yeah, be there in a sec Sally!" McQueen said, leaning into Mater's side and chuckling at a joke he made.

   Daniel sat in bed staring out the open window. The stars shining brighter than before. He's never be able to do this before because of the noise but here, it was silent. He leant out the window and smiled. Suddenly, a wild McQueen popped up.
"Hey Daniel." Daniel jumped and stared at his dad.
"Dad, you scared me-" McQueen chuckled and stared up at the sky. Daniel sighed and looked back up with him.
"Pretty isn't it," McQueen whispered, hands in pockets leaning against the wall. Daniel nodded slowly not taking his eyes off a curtain star.
   It was large and sort of flickered. Just then a comet passed, making his eyes widen even more. He knew what to do.
"Make a wish," whispered McQueen. Daniel did just that.

"What're you two doing still up? McQueen come on inside!" Sally popped her head into Daniel's room and saw the two. McQueen gasped and hid, making Daniel laugh. Sally adjusted her pyjamas before walking in. Daniel climbed under the duvet and snuggled in.
"McQueen, I can see you. Come inside it's late," Sally smirked and planted a kiss on Daniel's forehead.
"G'night mum..."
"Goodnight Daniel." She switched off his light and quietly shut the door. McQueen climbed through window and shut up, he stood next to the bed and smiled.
"Goodnight." He whispered and kisses his cheek then swiftly left the bedroom to join Sally.

"Alllllright Sal i'm all yours-" He winked and she just prodded his shoulder.
"Fine I'll get ready for bed."
   Giving in, he undressed and put on his blue pyjamas and climbed into bed next to Sally. He faced the window and looked out the at sky. The stars still shining up above. Daniel looked as well, counting as many as he could see until he fell asleep. 64 he got up too.
McQueen doing the same simultaneously, also reaching 64 before falling asleep. Sally smiled at his sleeping form before kissing him and going to sleep herself.
