Adopted by Lightning McQueen (slow uPdates...reaaallly slow)

Dinner.

The sun was setting. Mater had Daniel in a close embrace, telling him stories of what him and McQueen got up to now and then. Daniel was in fits of laughter. These little adventures seemed like the world to Mater, and they where.
"Alright you two, what're you doing?" Sally asked, giggling as she cane around the corner of Mater's little home. Mater stood up, scratching the back of his messy hair, laughing too.
"Just tellin' Daniel McQueen and mines lil' adventures! Like when I took him cow tipping!" Daniel wheezed with laughter as he remembered what Mater has told him about that time. Sally tutted slightly.
"Well, it's nearly 8 and dinner is almost ready at Flo's. Everyone's gunna be there, so Mater," he looked over at Sally, "shower." He poured and slowly nodded.
"A'ight then. See you later Daniel!" Daniel waves goodbye as he left Mater's place with Sally.

   At home, McQueen was in his and Sally's shared bedroom trying to figure out something nice to wear that wasn't to chilled. He had a few clean t shirts and pairs on jeans on the bed but none seemed right. Sally entered and sat on the bed by the clothes and watched McQueen think deeply.
"Got any ideas yet?" He shook his head.
"How about this, you look great in it." Sally pulled a deep red shirt and black tie out from her wardrobe and laid it out on the bed. She also took the pair of black jeans from the pile and put them under the shirt. It didn't look that bad at all.
"Heh, thanks Sally..." he said and kissed her cheek gently. She stroked his face and kissed him back. They hugged before Sally left to help Daniel.

   Daniel was rummaging through his bag to find clean clothes. He pulled out 2 black t shirts and a blue one. A few pairs of shorts and jeans. Sally walked in and sat on the desk chair watching him.
"Mum...do they look smart enough?" He showed her his messy clothes and she sighed a little. Smiling, she came over and brushed them down.
"Maybe, this black t shirt and those grey jeans." Daniel picked them up and nodded too.
"I'll be in the living room if you need me." And with that, she left to let Daniel change.
 
   Sally sat on the sofa, flicking through her phone at the weather tonight. Luckily, clear skies the whole night. The bedroom door opened and McQueen walked out, brushing his hair into a neat position. Sally stood and walked to him.
"You look great Stickers."
"You too as always Sal."
"I'm ready." Daniel came into view and scratched his head. He brushed his hair out of his eyes and want to the two.
"Aha! Now, let's go down to Flo's. It'll be a great night."
"You'll get to meet the others too Daniel." McQueen said and walked out the front door and we met with Mater in a weirdly looking suit. McQueen chuckled and pat his buddy on the back.
"You look snazzy." Mater laughed and walked with McQueen, Sally and Daniel.
"You too buddy!" He looked at Daniel and grinned, causing him to laugh.
"Race ya to Flo's! 3,2,1 GO!!"
