Nightmare

There was a long hallway. Shadows spread up and down the walls looking like ghosts and demons. Cheese, gripping his jacket sleeves tightly, walked down it, feeling tears prick at his eyes. A small gust of wind blew his direction sending goosebumps to litter his arms. It was the sound of a car engine that scared him. A red car was shining in the distance. Cheese's heartbeat sped up, he knew who's car that was.
"No don't go!" Cheese yelled as he ran over to the car. But whatever e tried the car wouldn't get much closer. He soon saw Sally next to the car, staring at him.
"Sally please!" Cheese called our and held his hand out to her, but she just disappeared into thin air. Cheese froze and looked around, shivering.
   The ground was turning a dark colour then went grey road. Cheese heard accelerating around him and before he could focus on what was happening, the same red car was heading towards him at full speed. Cheese let out a loud scream and covered his head and crouched. Just before the car would have hit him, a hand shook Cheese's shoulder, waking him instantly.
"Cheese...wake up! You're screaming!" It was Sally. She had made McQueen pull over because of the screaming. McQueen was standing behind Sally with a worried expression in his face.
"I just...I..." but Cheese's eyes filled with tears and he jumped into Sally's arms. She stroked his hair and soothed him.  
"Okay, were nearly back home anyway, so I'll sit with you until then. Okay?" Sally said and made McQueen get back into the drivers seat. Cheese nodded and Sally walked around to the other side and sat next to him.

McQueen drove back down Route 66 until they got back to Radiator Springs.
"I think you'll like everyone here Cheese. But I need to sort out your room first! You'll love it." McQueen said and looked at him through the mirror. Cheese smiled and nodded.
"I can't wait to see it...dad..."
