chapter 4

Two years and the girls are now nine years old. We all went out for 2day at our favorite hotel in los Angeles. It was so fun.

Ralph beats but is not beating me like before so I am glad for that. Even thou we argue a lot he nows how to calm down. He is has changed some of the things that he promise to change but he is still rude to me and disses me.

Its Friday so i picked up the girls from school and head to my moms place.I am now at my mom's house with girls.
The girls ran outside to play in the back yard with there uncle Steven he is my younger brother. My mommy and I were now talking about Ralph.

"Why do you do this to yourself?" Mom ask with a serious face.
"What mom I am fine your just being overprotective of me".

" Why? "

" Because you now that your Ralph cheats he beats you and yet you won't leave".

"Mom you now I can't the girls ".I said with distress on my face .

"I now you want to give the girls a good home of both parents but your hurting your self its a big sacrifice but its too big how long will you live."she said with a painful look that wept my heart .
"Mom I now that you did this for me when you and dad where having a hard Time but please I can't do this the what you did ." I said before checking the time.

"I got to go mom I have to go and fix dinner for Ralph see you tomorrow" I said to my mom.

I went to the back yard and kiss the girls good bye

"We love you mom be save."

"I love you too my babies" I said waving them good bye.

I went to my car and drive off.

I reach home little in time to finish tidying my the living room before my Ralph  gets home. I ran up stairs to the bathroom to freshen up myself . After my 10 minutes bath I got out and got dress in my night gown .

I ran to the kitchen to make Ralph something to eat.  After 40 minutes I was done cooking after that I heard my door bell.

"Coming" I looked at the time its just after 8. I got the door only to see my mother-in -law at the door with a suit case.

She hates me and now is at my door and besides that the kids doesn't like her she treats them bad and she rules every one that's lives here except her son. She sits all day and do nothing to help me in the house.

"Is Ralph here "

"No he is not may I help you with something?"

"May I come in "

"Yeah sure"

She pushed pass me with her suit case

Ok great now she is going to be in my house Tell me what to do and not to do.

She sat down on the couch looking at me .

"So why are you here?" I asked with a smile bowing won't want here to be here for a week or so.

"To see my son he invited me to come see him" she said with look that I can't explain.
"He didn't tell me that you were coming Up here" I said.

"Ok so how long do you plan on staying" I asked

"Maybe a year or so I am not sure And, why do you care so much this is my son's house".

Before I could answer the door bell rang I ran to get it

Ralph walked in"Hi babe How was work "

"Good "

"Ralph why didn't you tell me your mom would be here?"

"I am tired I can't answer you now and this is my mom we are talking about here she as a right in my house ok". He said
"You now she let me have two miscarriage why and how could you" I said as tear started yo fall from my left eye.

"You now she hates me and the kids. S he doesn't even help with nothing in the house"I said as I looked him in the eye.

"Ralph "

his mother walked around to the door .

"Hi mom are you ok, are you hungry" she nod.

"Hunny I will get your dinner to the table now" I walked pass his mother with a smile.

I walked to the kitchen and share his food and bring it to the table. I went to share my food and place it on the table when she came in and took my food. "Sorry but that's my food you can't take it not yours"I said "am going to make something else for you"

"No this is what I want to eat so make it for you self" she said in a spiteful voice. I went to living room now watching
Strange family .

My husband came out of the shower and head to the dinning table to eat his dinner .

"That's nice I am not going to eat with him tonight". His mother is hear and took my food and ate I muttered to myself. Its time for bed I went to my private bed room that has a build on bathroom and I didn't want my mother-in -law to stay there and I wasn't planing to be sleeping with Ralph any ways because we don't.

I locked my door so that no one could enter my room. There was a knock on my door . "What do you want ?"

"My room " I got up from the bed "who told you could lock me out?" She shouted from the room door out side .

"Ralph get up hear and tell your wife that I want my room"

"This room is mine not yours there are six bed rooms in this house and I have my own private room you can't come hear trying to strip me of my happiness in my own home" I said as I got from my bed heading to the bathroom.

I heared Ralph came up to the bed room door and was now telling his mother to go to any other bed room but no my bed room or the kids.

"Mommy please this is Lisa's bed room because we don't sleep together just let her be" Ralph said as she walked with suitcase to another room .

Two month past and things got worst I had to wash her clothes, cook make her breakfast lunch and dinner iron along with doing the kids choirs and my daily routine so I had no time to help my kids at all. She beats the kids for no reason at all.
