Third person's pov

There is this guy named Anderson. The 'Anderson' everyone admires. The boyfriend material. He is popular in his school while Jane the invisible one. The weird girl in the campus.
One day, Anderson caught Jane stalking him from behind. Anderson was her crush since grade school. Then he took the chance to ask Jane. "Are you stalking me?" he asked.

Jane panic and her hands starts to tremble. Her heartbeat isn't normal. She was ashamed to tell the truth yet she told him the whole story. That she really admire him. They became friends. Jane introduced Anderson to her bestfriend, Ely. Then suddenly she had this bad feeling about it. Months later, she knew something was out. She started to get nervous.

There, she saw Anderson kissing someone. And worst it's her bestfriend. Ely knew Jane for years. She's been bragging 'the guy who must not be named' most of the time. She was devastated when Jane saw him kissing her bestfriend, Ely. She was left lonely, alone with the damage that cause her, big time. She closed her eyes and breathed.

To get away from the pain, she started to run away. She didn't know that the person she trusted the most was the person that can break her into pieces. She blamed herself from trusting too much. Jane didn't know she was capable of betraying her. She was silly to think that maybe they could have a "happily ever after". She was young that time and yet she's thinking about future.

She can hear voices. Shouting. All over. Again and again. She was scared. She didn't know how to escape. She wanted to remove this pain she's feeling, immediately. Her eyes are bleeding and she didn't end up well.

She sighed thinking when will this pain stop. She looked up in the mirror. The girl who dies carelessly. She's trying to drown herself so she could end this pain. But it was bullshit she didn't want to die at a very young age. She didn't want to die knowing that they really don't care. Nobody can make her feel any better.

She left the person who she wanted to stay. She can't tell how much she wanted to stay. But her heart is bleeding. She didn't know what to do. So she continue to live her life. That particular person who shows that life isn't that cruel. How can they let her suffer like this? It doesn't matter anymore to her. She's now numb. Little did they know, she was still hurting, breaking.

She can't just run away with this pain. The damage that cause her to bleed. She wanted to stay but there's no use. Unfortunately, they are now happy without her. She's exhausted yet she's still fighting.

She kept silent, trying to live like a normal person who aims to be fvcking better than herself from yesterday. How can she move on, when the stitches of the past starts bleeding again? She needed more time.

One day, she heard footsteps coming from behind. She didn't bother to look. She continue to sob. She didn't care who the hell was that. She felt someone held a handkerchief to her. She finally look up. There, she saw the familiar stranger beside her. She can't think straight. Slowly, the guy named "Ivan" teach her how to move on. It's was never easy. Hell. She was afraid again to be alone.

But the guy said, "I won't leave you. I promise." Her eyes started to water. "Thank you" she said. They hug each other, tightly. She spend her most of the time hanging out with Ivan. To ease her mind, she pay attention in every story Ivan shares. He didn't want her to feel the pain. "How about you?" he asked. "Hmm?" "Anything. Something about you?" he raise his eyebrow. "Ohh, as much as I want to tell I don't have much story to tell." He just nodded. As the day pass by, she realized that she's somehow comfortable with him. I wasn't good enough for her.

She don't want to get involved to that again, it will ruin her from inside and will pierce her until destruction. She was scared. Now, she ended up disappointed with herself. Jane left him lonely, even if it hurts. She hide her feeling for him. Again, she started to run away. She want to take a break. But not a heartbreak! Jane thinks that maybe Ivan is just playing with her.

Years later, she bumped into someone. The guy help her and flash a sweet smile. It was just a simple smile, a smile that can make her stop for a moment, a very familiar memory from the past. That certain past she wanted to forget.

She deleted that stranger from her life already. She saw her past, taunting her. She's trying to correct mistakes after mistakes. She could almost hear him laughing like crazy. She held it again, memories came rushing in her brain. It's really a trap. But can she hide from it forever?

She thought that maybe there's a huge possibility that she could just let go of it. But no, it's been a while. She's now ready and healed.
So, she confess.

She decided to tell her feeling to him. The reason why she run away. At first, there's an awkward silent between them. She took a deep breath. Then finally she asked nervously. "C-Can you forgive me? C-Can you promise me even if I push you away, you will still s-stay?" Jane asked. "Of course, I promise. You know, you always have a place in my heart" Ivan said.
