Peter bambi thing above is in the next chapter as well just thought it was more relevent in this one because it inspired it.

So continuation sorta for the vamp AU. They've arrived in New York the hub for the supernaturals and Peter has been settling in. To become a supernatural you would have had to been dying to turn so everyone sort of has marks of how they 'died'. If it was natural causes then a mark of a skull will be your mark, if it was inflicted (knife, blood trauma, gunshot) then the wound will stay etc. So yeah this is basically Peter at magic school with a big ass scar from the fence. Enjoy! or don't idk u choose :-\

To say Peter was awed when he came to New York was an understatement. It took longer for him to 'turn' because of the wound and when he awoke at least 100 years had past and he arrived in a world full of technology and major advancements. Growing up in 1900's was what he was used to simple, work hard get the reward kinda life that he liked, then again he was never exposed to any other way of living. But Peter adapted quickly, it did help when your vampire mentor runs the biggest tech company out there. The one thing Peter could do without in this lifestyle was the schools. 

Like sure he was smart, he learned quickly, but the education systems were worse than the primitive ones. The clear 'groups' disgusted him, why seperate people on their social standing and personal preferences? But he came to realise that's what people did, especially when Peter had to deal with Flash.

Flash was the school bully, he was prideful, self-centred and had one hell of a left hook (Peter has learnt from past mistakes, from his experience it hurts.) MCU - Midtown College/High School for the Unique - was, as it said in the name, full of supernaturals. Ranging from faeries to merpeople. Flash happened to be a lightning elemental (he was fatally struck by lightning), hence the nickname. His real name was Eugene Thompson, but if anyone called him that they would get electrocuted. As soon as Peter entered as the protegé (idk how to spell it) of Tony Stark, Flash took an immediate disliking to him. Vampires could only turn one person in their lifetime and even if he was already an elemental he deluded himself that he would be the one chosen, not some italian bambi kid. 

So, that's why Flash didn't like him. Why he chose to make his life miserable Peter will never know.

They were in a PSHE/PSD lesson (idk what u americans call it but that's what its called in Britan *sips capri-sun*) and were talking about death marks. This immediately got Peter on edge, he hated his death and it took him months to stop constantly thinking about if he could've ben better his father wouldn't have died, and when the teacher said that everyone was going to show their marks Peter nearly fainted then and there. 

They went around the classroom, most people having natural causes marks or suicide marks (rope abrasions/slit wrists). MJ the semi-friend had a long line across her neck where her throat had been slit in her murder. Ned the real-friend had a bite mark from a wolf that had attacked him and left him to bleed out. When it came to Peter his breathing started to quicken and he started to panic, but reluctantly he lifted his shirt and pulled it off. The multiple gasps could be heard as they saw the scar of the once bloody mess. People winced, threw up, screamed, fainted and Peter's eyes darkened. He replaced the shirt and gestured for the teacher to continue going through the class. 

Nobody dared question such a brutal scar.
