Glitch in the World (Sword Art Online X Male Reader)

Part 1: The Ropes

Kirito, Eugeo, and Y/N all made their way into the village in which Eugeo lived in. They had to cross a bridge in order to get into the village, and at the end of the bridge a boy stood guard.

"Eugeo! Who's that you got with you?" The boy yells and Eugeo looks back at Y/N and Kirito.

"Friends of mine! I'm thinking they could be the children who have their memories taken by that god! I thought maybe we could he-." Eugeo started again.

"You and your imagination Eugeo. Its a myth that children get their memories stolen by a god. Its too stupid!" The boy says. Y/N's eyes landed down onto the boy's side and saw a sword.

"Nice sword." Y/N says catching the boy's attention.

"Huh? Yeah, my calling is basically to guard the bridge and warn people about any danger coming this way. Why are you interested in my sword?" The boy says.

"I think, me and my friend here, *Motions to Kirito.* Were swordsmen where we came from." Y/N says catching Eugeo's attention.

"A swordsman? Really? In that case," The boy pulled out his sword and pointed it at Kirito and Y/N.

"Show me." The boy says with a sneer. 

~Timeskip~

Kirito and Y/N stood in front of a wood piece stacked up on another piece of wood each holding a sword. 

"Cut that piece of wood down the middle." The boy orders pointing at the wood in front of the two. Kirito steps up first and grasping the sword with one hand, he skillfully cut through the wood with his sword glowing blue. The boys except Y/N were shocked as Y/N walked up next and fist bumped Kirito as he put another piece of wood on. Gripping his sword, Y/N took a deep breath and eyed the piece of wood. Swinging his sword upward, the familiar black fire engulfed his sword.

"W-What is this!?" The boy yelled as he was obviously afraid. Even Kirito and Eugeo were shocked as Y/N gritted his teeth and swung the blade downward. The blade cut cleanly through the wood and traveled into the ground with so much force still residing in the swing. The black fire soon faded as Y/N pulled the sword out of the ground. The wood piece that was on top of the round sturdy wood, had both been cut cleanly in half. Y/N turned around and scratched the back of his head embarrassed as Eugeo and Kirito talked excitedly with him. The boy just stared in shock at the sight of these two complete strangers. 

~Timeskip~

"Out of all the rooms I had to get..." Y/N says with a deadpan expression.

"It had to be with you." He finishes as he stares across at Kirito who rubs the back of his head obviously embarrassed.

"Not my fault you know? This was the only room they had available for the both of us." Kirito says as he remembers the Nun's words in his head. 

"You know...this world...reminds me of the renaissance. With people using swords, Eugeo telling us about knights and castles, even dragons. If this wasn't a game, I'd laugh, and I don't laugh." Y/N says as he takes off his shirt and throws it onto the end of his bed.

"But its interesting. I can still use my sword skills from SAO even in this different world." Kirito says as he draws the familiar, "S" on his hand bringing up his stats.

"Yeah same here. Although the black fire is kind of new. Even for me." Y/N says as he lays down on his bed.

"But what has got me going the most is how the fluct light can make real people like Eugeo or Alice's little sister." Kirito says.

"Well, if what your saying is true, then everyone here is typically, a living thing right?" Y/N points out. 

"Um yeah? I suppose?" Kirito says as he makes the stats disappear and lays down on his bed. 

"So...that means we can die here if our hp hits zero." Y/N points out.

"....." Kirito doesn't respond as he nods on his bed and thinks.

"Its SAO all over again. Except higher stakes." Y/N says.

"What are the stakes this time?" Kirito asks.

"Our girls. Waiting out in the real world for us. I can't just leave Sinon in that place without me. It...would kill her and me." Y/N says.

"What do you know? I thought laughing coffin members couldn't love." Kirito says.

"Back in SAO no one was really every truly different. We all wanted to escape, no matter the cost." Y/N mumbles. 

"Yeah...I guess..." Kirito says.

"Well big day ahead of us tomorrow Kirito. I don't know why...but something big is going to go down." Y/N says as he lays on his side and drifts to sleep.

"Yeah...big day..." Kirito says as he slowly drifts off to sleep. 

~Timeskip to Daytime~

"Kirito! Wake up!" Y/N's voice says as Kirito is shakes awake.

"W-Wha? What's wrong?" Kirito says with a yawn.

"You know Alice's sister? She's gone!" Y/N says as he looks around the room. Kirito's eyes widen as he jumps out of the bed and grabbing his stuff, runs outside to see Eugeo panting.

"No one's seen her! I don't even know where she could have gone!" Eugeo says. Y/N thinks as he looks up at the mountains and nods.

"I think I know where she could have gone." Y/N says.

"Where?" Kirito asks.

"Well I talked with her a little last night before heading back to my room and she seemed intent on going to a mountain? One, she said, with ice?" Y/N finishes.

"I know now! There is a mountain with lots of ice inside. That's where Alice went when I was a kid before she was taken away!" Eugeo says. 

"Look if that's the case then we really need to get to her. We don't know what could be inside those caves." Kirito says.

"Wow. I didn't know you had a brain." Y/N says astonished. 

"Okay! Let's get going!" Eugeo says as he starts to run in the direction of the mountain. Kirito and Y/N run after him with their concerns now being one. Outside of this digital world, three women stood in front of a large room with electronics everywhere with Y/N's mother in the middle. Sinon and Sugu looked at Kirito's agent friend and said together, "Where is Y/N and Kirito!?"
